I dated a man and all I ask was for respect. Did not receive it so one day he came over and I told him that I was comfortable enough with myself to tell him that I love him without hearing him say it back. However I love myself more so I will no longer open the door to him. I asked him to leave and he said well you love me so I will return. I said I love you but I did not say I am in love with you. Blocked his number and never opened my door to him as he repeatedly knocked. Turns out he has been trying to find a way to bump into me but I am always rushing to get to my destination. One year later he contacted me thru whatsap. Asked what he could do to which I responded figure it out. He came close and whenever we see each other he says when can I see you again. I love you. I respond well I love you too but I do not know. So he touches my entire body before he leaves because he does not know if it will be his last. I am not cold hearted but I am respecting myself and what I am requesting. It is my life.

Although I agree with you on many levels, I feel this should only apply to the early stages of a relationship. I one is going to have a real deep connection with another, the only way to get that is thru Transparency & Authenticity. Vulnerability can be sexy also. I'm so tired and embarrassed. I dated a guy for about two months, but things ended because he didn't want to give long distance an attempt. It's now been a year, I've been in a rebound that obviously didn't work out, and I am still missing this guy. Today I learned he has a "new" girlfriend too, which HURT LIKE HELL to learn, even so long after. I don't know what to do. He wasn't really anything special either, I just cannot forget him even a year after, and I can't talk to anyone about it because obviously I should be over a guy I barely knew by now, and everyone find it stupid that I still miss him. I just exposed my ex which became a friend and told him I didn't want to be friends anymore and I became hard with my true feelings and told him all of the shit hes done to me and that he was hurting me and I told him he needs psychological help and that he needs to grow some balls and if he changes his mind to become partners then my number is open. But I just full on told him off. Cause I've done everything and I needed to tell him my true true feelings after breaking up twice and him blocking me and abusing me emotionally. Now he responded with " Have a nice life you disgusting human being 😘". I have a feeling hes just mad I'm right and I also called out on his family for discriminating me for having an anxiety disorder. Even told him I'm moving on and ill be waiting for someone else to come to my life to love me like I deserve. I know he is confused with his feelings and I know over time, he will remember my last words and will regret it. I'm in no contact. I Don't want anything with him. And I know I've made a huge impact in his pathetic life that no girl will want to connect with his bad side. He will want me again and he will be begging for forgiveness.
