You won’t need a 12volt pump if you have the battery blower, just use it to pump up your bed too!

TLDR: Check Double Island Point for more accurate weather forecasts, not "Fraser Island" Use space bags and a cordless blower to save space Take duct tape Take cam/ratchet straps --- You can usually use a cordless blower to blow up air matresses (check before you go it actually works) One trick we did last time we went was we got space bags from Kmart and packed our clothes into them. Vacuum them down, put all our clothes into 1 suitcase. Saves heaps of space. Also can space bag down towels, blankets, doonas, tea towels. To suck the space bags back down use the cordless blower, or you can also just lay on the packed bag and seal it up and you'll get about 80% compression i guess? If you are going to Fraser to camp on the eastern beach side and want to check weather forecast I suggest looking at Double Island Point's weather forecast - especially for wind. The forecast when we went last week for "Fraser Island" in the BOM app said 15km/h winds. We had 40km/h winds ALL DAY AND NIGHT. The observation stations for Fraser Island seem to be in sheltered areas - Eurong is a resort and is sheltered. Kingfisher is on the western side and is sheltered. Even the lighthouse at the northern tip was recording wind down at 15km/h when we were there, so maybe it was sheltered from them as the wind was S/SSE. The only place that was showing strong winds in BOMs data was Double Island Point which is where the barge goes from at the souther end of Fraser Island, so I suggest you check DI's weather forecast if you're planning a trip there. We had wind around 50km/h and gusts that peaked at 90km/h. My new Dune tent held up well, but the main top pole bent and two of the flexible poles at the south end of the tent (the end the wind was hitting) split lengthways and we had to repair it with duct tape - TAKE DUCT TAPE. We parked a vehicle in front of it to help break the wind (it does a little, but not much with winds at those speeds) We parked another vehicle at the south end of our gazebo setup and cam strapped its 2 legs to a vehicle (bull bar and tray tie down bar - it was a Hilux ute) and I think that probably saved our gazebo setup. TAKE CAM STRAPS OR RACHET STRAPS. They also are just generally useful items (clothes line for example). My brother came back from the bin point and said "I've never seen so many dumped gazebos".

Weel set up. Just a couple things, go to chemist and get some midgee tablets, take a couple days befoe you go. Youre stabilizers. Get 4 peices of timber, cut them about 2inch wider the stabilizer, so thay don't sink in the sand, don't cover the motor on the fridge. You need atleast 2inch gap, so it can breath, just saying, have a save sunny side up trip
