Been on many bible studies(not my own.Never had one, never will), but the one question witnesses can't answer from their 'students' is, "I've gotta question for you....What's YOUR opinion on (name situation(s) or subject(s) here)?"Oh, I've seen witnesses sweat, figuratively, at this question.Some have looked at me to save them, & I look back at them like, "S/He asked YOU the question, not me!!"Sometimes, the 'teacher' gets saved by a phone call, Amazon delivery, someone visiting, etc. Anyway, I love seeing the witness squirm, it's soooo unintentionally satisfying😄🤣😉!!

Thank you for this video, it helps me reflect on how I conceptualized everything. I really was taken in by all the knowledge around Jehovah and the soul being mortal. The entire world paradigm shifts from a heaven/hell paradigm to being more realistic and once someone changes your entire reality concept, then details about where they are wrong were irrelevant to me.

the only problem for Jehovah's Witnesses is not to take as an example what Jesus instituted in their memory, which was to eat and drink the emblems in the Lord's Supper! for it is one baptism and one hope of eternal life. Ephesians 4: 4-6 note 4- There is one body and one spirit, just as you were called in a hope to which you were called; 5- one Lord, one faith and one baptism; 6- God, unique and Father of all, who is above all, and through all and in all.

Yes, but if you talk to them, they’re abstaining from the emblems fits in with the total ideology. It’s no shocker. If you were raised as one, it would make sense but look weird from the outside. Just as being raised a Christian who goes to church and eats a wafer that isn’t vanilla flavored makes sense to you, but not to an outsider

Based on more than 50 years investigative journalism and experience of a former JW. Soon after it was published the Watchtower Society removed Pastor Russell's graveside pyramid monument because of the revelations in the book.

The metaphors and allegories or literary devices the writers were using back then relate to what they knew at the time rather than our modern interpretations of metaphors allegories ~~~so you have to forgive then ~~~most people now accept naturalism as being the accepted truth ~~that the earth goes round the sun rather than the stars going the earth

yeah the problem comes from people insisting that every word is literal and perfect. Also worshiping a god that would force someone do something they didn't want to just so he could show other people how strong he was.

you can use the interlinear and look up the original hebrew, aramaic and greek words. can’t argue with that. the hebrew says “ I Harden Pharaoh’s Heart to multiply my signs in the land of Egypt” or something like that. but clear from the original hebrew rather than argue translations

The one patent thing that will work is so NOT go after the organization or the GB. You can question bible or doctrine but the the organization or GB will get your nowhere. Matter fact you could use hellfire and trinity to get their mind to open up. Show them way people believe in such doctrine that you yourself don't believe in. For example can I show you why people believe in the trinity vs your belief. Then show them how unusual scriptures used have been changed. Matt 28:19,20 was added to support the trinity and you guys use the same. Can you explain to me why you believe the great crowd on earth? (Allow time for a complete explanation) then ask why would the writer of Revelation use great crowd one place as interpreted and then the same thought in heaven. Rev 19:1 Do you believe only Jesus can die for your sins? Could or did anyone else die for your sins? (Allow for a lengthy explanation) They should answer it with a resounding NO. Next ask how is it that a person who dies is acquitted of his sins? Is here a dual sacrifice? Can anyone substitute for christ? 2 Cor 5:20 says in your bible the ambassador will. They already know the ambassador is the GB. If they dont upon their research they will learn many things that will stick much longer than if you just gave them them answer. There are soo many more but....

I do feel that making points that they have heard a million times won't make a difference. Perhaps it is just my experience but even now trinity make little intuitive sense. 3 equals 1 separate from the whole at certain times but always part of the whole is simply confusing. Your 2nd and 4th points are rock solid! Giving them a nugget to research is perfect.

Thanks for the feedback. I felt my presentation was definitely off on this one. one curious thing is that when I read scriptures the viewership drops 100% of the time. So I am trying to just use references because people engage with it more. I do agree that from a argument perspective though, showing the differences in the verses as a visual tool is more effective.

@@exjehovahswitness just want you to know I am 100 % behind you in your efforts You are right to not read out scripture.The best method is to ask the viewer to compare ...lets say Exodus 9 :12 in the NWT Bible with ( and list the bibles for comparison) Your enthusiasm sometimes gets in the way of your message. Edit your message to bullet points in your head....less is more., infact stick to one main point for clarity of message. Kind regards
