What to See & Do in Tangier, Morocco

Welcome to Tangier, Morocco! We started off our trip visiting the square of the ninth of April, one of the biggest squares in the city. We explored the old medina before stopping to shop for a jalaba and the traditional Moroccan sandals.
Next up we headed to Tangier beach to ride a camel. It cost about 5 euro per person for a 30 minute ride along the beach. If you don't make it down to the Sahara you should definitely try to ride a camel in Tangier.
There is two restaurants I recommend when in Tangier, Riad Tanja and the El Morocco Club. Riad Tanja, has live music every night and serves some delicious moroccan tangines. El Morocco Club serves more of a gourmet fusion Moroccan cuisine mixed with a few other cuisines.
This is Dar Nour Guest House, one of the few properties located in the Kasbah. It's a boutique bed and breakfast, they have 10 rooms and they have 3 terraces on the roof top with a 360 degree view of Tangier.
Have you been to Tangier? Let me know what you thought of this beautiful Moroccan city!

Just finished watching an episode on Tangier from Anthony Bourdain: Parts Unknown on Netflix. Soooo freaking AWESOME! Instantly fell in love with it and now I'm dying to go visit and experience it for myself..I got on KZbin and searched Tangier, Morocco and clicked on your video out of the many and I really like it!! You added great info that I didn't see on Parts Unknown, so thank you!!! Did you happen to come across and try their hashish or majoun? I know it's a big part of the whole cannabis community and traditions there.. anywho, thanks again for the fun video! Xoxo :)

Great video, really well put together! I love Tangier and this video captures some of its spirit. It's a truly fascinating place, right on the edge of Europe and Africa and influenced by both.

Cool, I always thought Tangier would be a good stop to at least get your foot in Africa if you've never been to Africa. I don't like that they hit the camel with that stick. Thanks for the tips and video.
