The X-Men series was around since 2000. Blade, X-Men and Raimi's Spider-Man were our thing back then. Gotham Comics were available for ₹10. (They had an X-Men series named The Hidden Years, which was immensely popular). X-Men Evolution used to be aired on Cartoon Network. And X-Men - The Animated Series was aired in Hindi on Doordarshan. Aur yahi nahin, there was Akansha and Mahashay (Rogue and Professor Xavier) appearing in Shaktimaan during the same time. So, unlike today's kids, we have had a lot more exposure to X-Men than Avengers. I still remember the tagline for the first film - Trust a few, fear the rest.
