In the winter, I ride 90% of the time in stretch denim jeans. I find them super comfortable and warm to about 20F. In colder temps I use stretch denim jeans also ........but fleece lined. And yes layering is the key to winter fat biking. Keeping hands and feet warm in frigid temps is always a challenge, particularly because I don't like using pogies so I wear electric heated gloves under oversized fleece gloves.........perfect solution for me. Also removable liner boots are my "go to" in frigid temps. Thanks for all the useful info and ride on! BTW: another good way to beat the cold is "get out there" daily and get climatized!

great video!, how ironic is it that the sport is mainly practiced with flats, but the only very specific flat snowshoes that I am aware of are the 45NRTH, but the sole of the shoes is not very grippy at least not as the Fiveten are...

Great footwear is hard to find when it comes to winter riding.

Great content. It is funny how most rides want to upgrade their bikes, but ignore aspects like this. Proper clothing, gloves and shoes are game changing indeed.

I couldn’t agree more! It goes even beyond biking or sports. Living in a region, where the weather is harsh for 3-4 months of the year, knowing how to properly layer makes a huge difference in every day life as well. I appreciate you watching and leaving a comment!

Curious about what kind of hybrid jacket that is

Hi Mike, in the video I'm wearing an older Pearl Izumi jacket. The 2022 version is called the Canyon ECO Loft. It's been a great versatile jacket for me. Let me know if you have any other questions. Cheers.

One thing that Clark gets right but doesnt is that Cotton is actually terrible at absorbing moisture per gram of cloth, Wool, Linnen and some synthetic Fabrics can absord WAY more Moisture and therefore, not feel wet when Cotton long is soaked. Wool just gets heavier and heavier, while wicking the moisture out to basically the entire piece.
