I show you what oil you should use on your manual transmission and E gear Lamborghini Gallardo made from 2004-2014. I show you where the E gear oil is, when you replace it and how the automated manual single plate dry clutch Graziano L140 transaxle operates. If you have a gated 6MT Gallardo, I show you what actuates the clutch master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder on your Lambo too!
Be ahead of the game when it comes to replacing your gearbox and limited-slip differential oil to eliminate clunky driving when turning at low speeds.
Rear Differential/ Transmission Fluid Capacity: 4 Litres.

Tanel, any new Gallardo owner is going to be in over their head just trying to find answers for simple gear oil! The user manual is confusing and has typos, the service manual is confusing and has typos, and finally the forums are confusing and have typos! LOL

Another great choice is Royal Purple Max Gear 75W-90. Works great in tranny safe for yellow metals and gl-4 rated it is also synchronizer safe! I have been spending time converting oils and what not over to readily available oils and this one has worked flawless in mine! Another great video!

Isn't that neat Juan! Interesting tech there for sure for manual cars. You see this same clutch setup on a lot of Audis/VW with manual transmissions too. The Graziano L140 is an absolute monster of a transmission too. I really need to pull it out of the car and show you what the best transmission in the world really looks like.

So Pentosin CHF 11S is only used in the Second Gen LP cars for the E-gear Actuator system ?? !!
@TheBullRider
@TheBullRider Жыл бұрын
Mike, that is correct. I did some digging and it appears that VWAG part number G004000 is the oil for the LP/R8 Rtonic E gear actuator fluid. G004000 cross references to CHF11S as a compatible part. I also believe that you can use CHF-11s in the Pre LP E gear actuator but I personally wont risk it.
@samuelprados4975
@samuelprados4975 2 жыл бұрын
In the E-Gear actuator you can use any good quality synthetic low viscosity ATF fluid, will do no harm. But ideally you can use Febi 06161 or Tutela CS Speed (my choice too), as said, Don't EVER THINK on using brake fluid, you're going to *destroy* the actuator system. I've seen this before and its ugly.
@TheBullRider
@TheBullRider 2 жыл бұрын
Samuel, exactly! Tutela CS Speed all the way! Whats your thoughts on CHF 11S in the E gear system? I mentioned brake fluid and how it actuates the clutch slave cylinder in manual cars. Kind of an elegantly simple system that manual cars have huh?
@samuelprados4975
@samuelprados4975 2 жыл бұрын
@@TheBullRider yeah, in the manuals it is pretty simple and elegant indeed. I don't use CHF 11 because I don't like it's smell 😅. Specially the gear pump and the accumulator, they are the parts that suffer more with an incorrect fluid. Lambo's E-Gear, Fiat/Alfa Romeo Selespeed/Dualogic and a handful of other AMT systems are all derived from the Free Choice AMT System from Magneti Marelli, and Magneti Marelli recommended the CS Speed, which is readily available even in my country, so there's actually no real reason to mess with different fluids in those systems. But I know people who use CHF 11. It feels a little off to me. I know we are not supposed to touch oils, but it feels different on the touch, I wonder if it is going to have some negative effects on the long term. And since CS Speed is easy to find.... you got my point.
@TheBullRider
@TheBullRider 2 жыл бұрын
@@samuelprados4975 I remember using CHF11 in power steering systems and thats funny you mention the smell because I dont mind it! Haha Regarding the "feel" of the fluid. I know what your saying, makes me think that there are different viscosity modifiers in the CHF11s. Finding CS Speed is a bit expensive here in the US but you can still find it!
@samuelprados4975
@samuelprados4975 2 жыл бұрын
@@TheBullRider Well, I said CS Speed was easy to find, not cheap 😅. But when doing any kind of work in a AMT transmission, the oil is usually the cheapest part involved, so I just go for CS Speed. I live in Brazil.
