@@silentbullet2023 wrong. It keeps China from coming over here and buying American businesses because they can produce cheaper. Then when they do this they jack the prices way up because there’s no competition. Tariffs keep foreign companies from buying American companies and keeping things competitive ie prices low.

The US is THE economic superpower while the UK has such a rubbish economy that its now below India and free falling further. Whatever the US does will affect the world economy and not just themselves. The rest of the world is forced to live with US tantrums while nobody cares about the UK.
