@alanjagroop12823 жыл бұрын
Which USB HUB. Good for game controllers. To be used for More than one wired controllers on any console or pc. I bought one of the 3.0 4Usb hub to connect to xbox360e. Because it only has two usb ports in front. The back is unreachable. Anyways I plug it in and connected one of my wired 360 controllers. It turned on. However the buttons dont work with the hub. Direct it works without hub. But using it. Seems like it not pulling enough power for buttons. Which Usb hub is best for this situation. More than one controller for any console or pc.

I have multi port hub attached to my laptop. I have old laptop. Do I use usb c adapter for it. The port on pc is usb 3.0. The usb and audio port on the hub work fine. But when I plug in hdmi into hub nothing happen. If I plug the hdmi into the laptop (without hub) it works. I have tried to detect display but doesn’t work. I have windows 10 Does this mean I have the wrong drivers? Is the usb 3.0 adapter messing it up? Can you transfer that info through the USB port? Could it be because laptop is a bit old? I don’t know why it no work.

Hi, I have a question, I need one extra USB port and I would like to use an adapter from C to A. Will you connect a condenser microphone to it and it will not lose its quality. Either the keyboard or the mouse will work smoothly. It only needs one extra usb A port. Maybe you know about it. I would be very grateful for your answer.

USB is digital, so unless there is a ground loop, you shouldn’t lose any Mic quality.

Isnt there a self powered USB Hub that can be used for Switch and PS5(to use with a DAC + Headphones) where you dont have to press a button on the hub itself/or use a remote to press a button, when you want to switch between devices. Like, a HUB that instead automatically recognizes which device is being used once it's turned on? Trying to make things less complicated, because it almost feels like a mini ritual booting a game up with this set up.

i only have 2 but what do ya know their 2 of the ones shown in this vid. the first one i have is the one with the 4 switches, the switches feels nice but i can tell the rest of the construction is low quality cuz the ports are slightly wider are close to wider than usb ends leaving them a bit lose and easy to slide out, the compleat lack of rf shielding at least inside the shell, and i got it for literaaly $5-$8 at a dolar general. my second one(first one i purchased) i've had and have been useing it for about a year now and it's the onne with the buttons i'm %90 sure it's even the same brand lol. Anyways i payed i think $15ish USD for it on Amazon and the buttons although a a little wibly wobbly it doesn't feel bad(hard to describe it) and all 4 buttons worked fine for about half a year when one started having button conection isues(the light indicators are very handy btw ) i do soldering so i can actualy fix that later but for folks who don't solder electronics that might be dealbreaker if your looking for a long lasting reliable hub. I have taken the shell apart it was a bit tuffer to crack than the other so that could be a good or bad thing and no it has no RF shielding on the inside however the wire seems kinda thick so hopefully their's some shielding in the cable. i've used both hubs for a cheap sound card(even this cheap $15 sound card made a noticable improvment in audio quality so i highly recomend geting one or a dedicated DAC(digital to analogue converter), any pricerange is probably better than what's on a standard device.) and i did hear some static on the cheap one but never on the more expensive hub.

This pisses me off quite a bit by now because it’s far more complicated with the current outputs of usb hubs than you stated: some of the unpowered hubs only go up to 100mah (enough for flash drives, which can operate on quite low power, opposite to what you stated), and even 500mah can be too little current for most 2.5‘‘ drives that run on only one usb connector.. also very often the manufacturers don’t state how those fast charging ports decide between 2.1A and less for most other devices.. and with the powered hubs it’s even more complicated to get for example a dedicated 1A charging port and some fixed 500 mah ones, most new ones have a ‚smart‘ chip which is quite ‚dumb‘ most of the time (misidentifying the device, charging with too little current, or even too much in some cases!) I have some devices that will break if they get 1A input but also some which would take forever to charge if plugged into a 500mah port.. Does anyone know usb hubs where you can either switch the max. current manually or one with a couple of different but fixed (current wise) outputs? Hate those pretend to be smart devices, if they don’t have manual overrides.. Why is thinking for yourself getting more and more restricted? Big brother wants us to die out probably
