If you want to get back into it I say go for it but it is a different game from what it was before. In my opinion it's a better game but different none the less. There is a lot of content to play and when it comes to endurance running there are a few places that it is rewarded for doing it like cascade, disruption, and even duviri circuit to an extent but generic survival missions are just for fun and run on AABC rotation rewards so there is no big reason to run them for long even if it's a fissure to open relics. I personally do like to run steel path conjunction survival for a while to stress test some of my builds but that's not for everyone. There is still so much other content to do like railjack which is good now and duviri which is basically it's own game mode. Cross save/play is working pretty well too. There are plenty of weekly content things to do like archon hunts, netracells, khal, and the free battle pass nightwave that it's still worth getting on at least once a week to do those. I will say there will be a huge power creep that was added with the addition of weapon arcanes, galvanized mods, tennokai, helminth, along with the general better mods, arcanes, and weapons that attempting to just run in to steel path with 5 year old builds isn't recommended but to be fair you can do steel path with an unmodded octavia if you wanted so it's not like it's hard content.

There have been a lot of good changes overall. Rebeca and Pablo have been leading the team and pushing it in a new creative direction. Based on what I recall from your previous videos from as far back as 2017 I am not sure it’s quite where you want it to be yet however, I think we are in for some cool stuff this year. I had such a great time in Warframe back in the chool. But I am not planning on starting again... Almost none of my friends kept playing the game. And my free time is too precious to me. Used to be fun just chilling, listening to the music and farming. But it's not something I want to put another 1500 hours. I have not been playing for like 2 years now. I think I would be totaly lost in the game with all those updates it would actually scare me.

If you comeback I recommend the Frame Kullervo. He’s pretty good. Also from what I call Destiny definitely had a hiccup. They fire a lot of their employees without telling them including some of the people that made Halo, they blamed the player base for not spending enough. i don't see anyone typing in comment section about the changes so let me summarize. They added a bunch of new mods that is a must when doing endurance runs especially on the steel path, they have 3 more different type of standings like Cetus. Some weapons now have different forms they can evolve into called incarnon weapons. New arcanes specifically for melees that give more stat boosts. There are archon shards that you can put on warframes to give increased stats and as u may know the helminth system where you take abilities off of frames to put them on others. There is a new secondary in the form of like a spell book that you casn shoot magic out of. You can build new kitgun weapons and kitgun primaries. The whole lich system as you may know where you can get kuva weapons, sisters of parvo's where you can get corpus variationed weapons as well. Theres so much going on right now. I took a few years off and was an xbox player but now i can play on pc after the merge and link. Hope i explained it well. If you need any additional information let me know id be more than happy to sit down with you and run stuff. also you have the new open world called the deviri expericne where you run around as a drifter aka grown up version of the operator but instead of amp you carry blades and a pistol pretty cool i think. New reward system in that as well.

I also stopped playing back in 2019 and came back to warframe a bit after the new war update and i really enjoyed it for a while but then stopped playing again because Xbox one just doesn't run the game good enough anymore. So now with the cross-save im finally able to play on my PC and i've been having a blast since december. I even put to work on my MR and went from MR22 to L1 faster than i thought. You should really come back to Warframe, specially if you haven't play since before SP was added.

Yeah it has improved, still the same warframe but definitely has some major improvements. New game modes and new content every update. Melees just got a buff but if you run normal SC you don’t need it. For Steel Path is where you want to use the gear. Steel path is for veterans and players who understand game mechanics 😊

There is nothing wrong with being so done with a game you just don't want to play it anymore, but sometimes after you've given it some time, played other games, and moved on to different experiences, coming back again can rekindle that love, sometimes it doesn't and like the groundhog predicting 6 more weeks of winter you see your shadow and decend again. I belive what you mentioned at 1:53 was about the continuing "de-grinding" efforts the new team has undergone, starting with a fortuna economy rebalance. We already have gotten some in-game alerts acting as a partial refund on fortuna ranks for everyone. Yes destiny is doing VERY BAD, like REALLY BAD they fired Michael Salvatori among a BUNCH of other employees and have made some distasteful comments to the community about how making content for the game is hard and players should expect less DESPITE players paying out the wazoo for new expansions, seasonal content, and cosmetics. So many destiny players have been coming to warframe because of it.

Wake me up when mods are overhauled to have mixed stats for every single mod in warframe until then it'll never pop off for me. Also I still laugh that we have obviously bad warframes or weapons to this day. When will my boi inaros get his day. However warframe crossplay and crossprogression are fully enabled. I do recommend playing granblue fantasy relink though for everyone in the comments. I know nothing about the franchise but it has been a phenominal game I'd even say it's above peak monster hunter for me and I love my monster hunter. Story started off eh since I don't know the basics of lore but I started really enjoying it later on. Relink fameplay top tier. Edit: I almost forgot my first ask is warframe overhaul all the old game modes with their newer mechanics, because they already have the mechanics to fix old game modes and NEVER port them to the older ones. So top 2 priorities to bring me back to warframe are rework old game modes AND all the mods.

I keep bumping into people in other games who keep saying 'you should try Warframe'. I gotta explain I got almost 2k hours and I'm MR 30. I'm good, I've had enough for now. Most of the updates are good. The Steel Path circuit is CHUNKY you get level 200+ enemies and they're whole new enemies right off the bat with interesting abilities. I just wish they had started doing this you know five years ago or something. It's cool, I dip in now and then but it's not my one and only thing anymore. Oh yeah, D2 is in the worst state it's ever been in. Lightfall was so god awful it broke people out of the retention loop and it made a lot of us realize we weren't even having fun most of the time. Especially since the new raid was dog water.

Destiny 2 is no longer friendly for new players because half of the campaign has been removed. it feels like you went to the movie theatre late. For long-term players, the game felt the same, the cycle of things you do is the same boring thing, nothing changed, and even after getting new DLC, you get back to the same old activities, nothing changed.
