Some years ago I went through something while I was a leader in the church. It was a marital issue. And even though I could feel and see God close to me, I tried to fix things instead of waiting on The Lord. I eventually abandoned my positions in the church and even though I didn't go back to a worldly lifestyle I believe that I strayed from the path. Today I feel The Lord calling and taking me back to a life as a church leader. These studies have both encouraged and enriched me greatly. Please help me pray. This name “Jesus” is a Latin transformation of the name original Latin name of “Iesus”, as can be seen in the 1611 English KJV where we find the name "Iesus". There is a difference in spelling and pronunciation (Jesus=gee-sus) and (Iesus=ee-sus). Iesus comes from the Greek Iesous. Iesous is a transliteration of Yeshua, an Aramaic name. Here is the Problem, the apostle Peter stated: "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved” (Acts 4:12). The question is, what is the by which we must be saved? So which name is the one name revealed from heaven? Is it Jesus, Iesus, or Iesous? The answer is None of these names. These names were never revealed by God. Yeshua is clearly the name used to transliterate from Aramaic to Greek causing "Iesous," which would indicate that translators thought Yeshua to be the Savior's original name. Another problem is that these names, Jesus, Iesus, and Iesous have no intrinsic meaning regarding salvation in any language. This tells us that using the name "Jesus" is in error. The Savior revealed His name to Saul, who was later known as the apostle Paul, in HEBREW! The name “Jesus” is not a Hebrew name, and the Savior never knew this name. The apostle Paul testified, "And when we all had fallen to the ground, I heard a voice speaking to me and saying in the Hebrew language, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me? It is hard for you to kick against the goads.’ So I said, ‘Who are You, Lord?’ And He said, ‘I am Yeshua(?), whom you are persecuting" (Acts 26:14-15). There is no letter J in Hebrew. The Hebrew letter Yod, the first letter in the name of Christ, corresponds to the English letter Y. So why are we using the letters J or I in place of Y? Yeshua is a shortened name for Yehoshua. Yeh, in Yehoshua, used to be YAH, as in YAHOSHUA, but was changed to Yehoshua for many centuries only to be shortened to Yeshua. God did not put the name of Jesus into our Bible, it was done by auspices of the church leadership, the blind leading the blind, which allowed for the illegitimate changes in the only revealed name of salvation to become an entirely different name never revealed by God. We are supposed to say, "Halleluyah," which means "Praise YAH!" YAH is the name that is above every name, which the apostle Paul heard on the road to Damascus. He, Paul, heard “the name which is above every name,” that is YAH, and he wrote as much: "Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of YAHSHUA every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that YAHSHUA the Christ is LORD, to the glory of God the Father" (Philippians 2:9-11). Every tongue, every language, is to know this one revealed name by which we must be saved! YAH is “the name which is above every name!” Just as the apostle Paul heard it. Because the Savior of the world has the name {YAH}, we stand by the true name of YAHSHUA! It is serious because we are warned that to reject or not believe in the name of YAHSHUA, one stands condemned. "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. “He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God" (John 3:16-18). If you do not see how serious this is, you are lost in the Traditions of men that make void the word of God (Mark 7). Do we deny the prophet, who testified to the name YAH, for he said, “Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation’” (Isaiah 12:2 NKJV). Do we deny the Savior, who told the people, that before Abraham was, He was YAH? YAHSHUA said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” YAH means “I AM” in Hebrew. The people knew what He said, that He told them that He was their God, who spoke to Moses. Moses was told that God’s name is YAH. Then Moses said to God, “Indeed, when I come to the children of Israel and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they say to me, ‘What is His name?’ what shall I say to them?” And God said to Moses, “HaYAH Ashar HaYAH.” (which means: “I AM WHO I AM.”) And He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’” Moreover, God said to Moses, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel: ‘The Lord God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My memorial to all generations” (Exodus 3:13-15). LORD=YHWH=YaHaWaH and YAH is “the I AM,” and Hawah is “to be”, as in everpresent. YHWH means, “I AM ever present.” It has come to this that to know the one name by which we must be saved, we have to rely on the Word of God, because religious leaders will claim that the name YAHSHUA is a “philological impossibility!” And many are deceived by that statement.

Right. I dont understand why they dont see that. It couldnt have been a sign or token. Cain wasnt going to carry around a sign. Why cant people just take the word for what it says. Its like they try to say the mark of the beast is a chip. Well thats not what the bible says. It says its a mark. You can cut a chip out of the skin. But im not sure what the mark will be. Im sure after people take the mark they wont want it removed because they will have to have it in order to buy or sale. Let me ask you a question. I like your comment and you are right it has to be literal. But the question id like to ask is Who would it be that would kill cain if God had not put a mark on him? lol Just wondering if you know. I have studyed this for a number of years. I like asking questions that will blow peoples mind. Think about it. Who was on the earth besides Adam and Eve and their kids? I am 79 years old. I was a Christian until I married my first husband whom I met at church. After we married he revealed himself to be an atheist. My faith was weak and I fell out of my faith at that time. We were married for 20 years before he began a relationship with another woman and told me he no longer loved me. I divorced him then. A year later I met my next husband who also was an atheist. Two years ago he died and I became a widow. At my advanced years I have come back to Jesus. I am old and disabled but feel that I have finally woken up. My shame is because I raised three children without giving them the knowledge of Christ. I pray every day to be forgiven for this and that they will find him. Two of my three children no longer speak to me. So praying for them is my only way to reach out to them. I feel like I've waisted so many years and I am so ashamed but I am being healed.

One of the most important object lesson presentations yet - not because of any revelations as to what Cain’s mark consisted of, but because the question provides an opportunity to emphasise that we must NEVER indulge in dogma that cannot be supported by scripture. OK to have theories on questions on Biblical matters which may be difficult to interpret, as that’s part of the thinking and learning process, but must remain as theories unless they can be backed up by God’s Word in an ironclad manner. Cain was the son of Satan. Cain's curse as that he couldn't grow anything to eat. Gen. 4:12. That curse still applies today to his descendants. As far as any "mark" goes, it applied only to Cain.

Cain is not Adam's son. He is not listed in Adam's lineage. Gen 3:15 gives the difference between the serpent's- Rev 20:1-2 seed and the woman's seed. John 8:44- Cain is the- first recorded murderer and his father is the devil. The mark is deception. Remember the Lord talked to Cain before he murdered Abel. Cain deceived Abel and while out in the field he murdered him. Gen 1:26-31 is the creation of all the Gentile- non- Hebrew races. Gen 2 is about Adam who is in the lineage of Jesus- Luke 3: 38-23. The Gentile races were producing offspring and spreading across the area and eventually the world. It plainly states that Cain was cast away by the Lord and when he got to the land of Nod he knew his wife- Gen 4.

The history of Cain's predicament started at God's declaration of judgement on man and the serpent. Genesis 3:15 " The Seed Of The Woman". Which happens to be and will be the first born male child. After the fall man has hoped on the firstborn male child for redemption. But the devil was always out to make a fault of them (firstborn males) so that that prophecy will not be fulfilled. Cain wasn't there when the judgement was mete but his reactions, lying, arrogance, disrespect, etc towards God shows that he was negatively misinformed by his parents about God to the point that he accepted his punishment and even weighed it shows that there is how his father has portrayed God to him (God is a punisher). You can always imaging how you will behave towards someone whom your parents have convincingly spoken negatively about in your presence. Especially when they say that the present unfavorable situation they are now was caused by that man. To Cain, God cursed the ground before he became a farmer. The Curse: Luke 2:23 & Exodus 13:2. The curse that was meted on Cain (alone) was in the same pattern as that meted on Lucifer Job 1:7, Ezekiel 27:26&28:7 (east wind)(where was the garden in Eden?) but he (Cain) had an advantage which the devil didn't have. Vs 11&12 God actually suspended Cain from benefiting when he engages the earth but he can eat whatever the earth produces which he didn't negotiate nor initiate. Vs 13&14. Being driven from the face of the earth and from the face of God. It wasn't new to him because his parents have experienced the same situation when they were driven away from Eden and its splendid environment. Vs 15 The covenant of the firstborn covered for Cain. He belonged to God Exo. 13:2. Only God has a right on him. Therefore God punished him with life by giving him a mark or seal that he won't become man's business. It became a typology of our time that despite what we have done as sin whose wages is death, when we accept the judgement of God who is Jesus whom we killed by crucifixion, a mark or seal will be placed on us for eternal life. What was a curse for Cain became a blessing for us in type. Matt. 27:25. So the mark was like a spiritual banner, emblem, sign, presence that wasn't physically discerned but spiritual to the point that his great, great, great grand son, Lamuel boasted on the Curse Genesis 4:24. Today when we call ourselves Christian, we boast on the Curse of Matthew 27:25. Vs 16: The land of Nod in the east of Eden. Lucifer was created with TEN precious stones in Eden Ezekiel 28:13-15. How can you make all these stones to be formed into any shape or creature? They must be heated with fire. Man was also made in Eden with dust. How can you mold the dust together? You use water. So the created man (dust) was placed in a garden that was planted in the east of eden (remember the east wind?) When man was driven out of the garden, he wasn't driven out of Eden. So man still maintained a position in the east of Eden but not in the garden. Cain after the encounter with God further his Exodus still in the east of Eden but the name of the place he wandered to was called Nod. Nod: it is a prehistoric location that is parallel to worlds. It is a portal land that is dually accessible which had occupants who were prehistoric. Their existence never affected the activities of the Adamic Eden until Satan by observation and covetousness had an encounter with Adam and Eve. After man's eviction, encounters with Nodians wasn't a strange occurrence. That is why, Cain being the third man on earth was able to raise an observation by saying that by the reason of the unamended Curse Gen. 4:13&14, any body (Nordians) who finds him will kill him. Who were the Nordians? These are prehistoric creatures or beings who were cherubs in their own rights. The can assume any form of creation because they are earth bound (created from earth's elements). They are not Angels because Angels are pure spirit. The Arch angels are a combined creation of angels and cherubs. Lucifer, Michael were one of such. The Nordians became creation side effect when they followed after Lucifer's campaign to be as God (All these creatures were created to be mono utilized like singing hallelujah to God for 100000000 years) and he promised them POSITION Ezekiel 28:2, Isaiah 14:11-15. They were created in Eden and when their judgement came, they became a woe to the inhabitants of the earth Rev. 12:7-9. They roamed and wander the earth as fugitives and vagabonds that was why Cain was able to reason alike Gen 4:14c. Cain knew that they have the power to spiritually discern him and kill him since he is now without the presence of God who will protect him from these beings. He knew that the land of Nod is a land that is void of the presence of God and God does not oversee their functions there. Gen. 4:14b. So we should start asking where did Cain get the hatred from? where did he got the jealousy from? where he got the deception from and where he got the knowledge to kill a man? All were in Nod. Remember the Nordian who deceived his parents? So following after the advice of Nordians, he became ABOMINABLE. Therefore, he will not be able to deliver humanity. That seed of a woman must be without sin/faults. (Cain) has failed. Cain knew that he won't last in the land of Nod, therefore, he objected to his punishment and an amendment was made and God cursed him with life so that he can live. He took that life into the land of Nod out of the presence of God. Since his presence wasn't tolerated any more in this 2nd realm of Eden. The reason for that advantage is a type of Gods love towards man that he will not leave us nor forsake us. That though we are in the world, we are not of the world. Vs.17 Cain's wife was not of the children of Adam. She was a Nordian. God clearly separated and excommunicated him from the adamic realm into a parallel realm called Nod and he prospered there. He built cities, established his kingdom, had a name and wielded power because he had life. With the life God has blessed us with, what are we doing with it in this dispensation. Are we building a kingdom? Are we establishing his name and are we wielding great power of manifestations and authority with it? Even Cain's genealogy was named. But the end of all flesh came by the flood of Noah. That generation all died in the flood.

No sir. I suggest you read Genesis 1:26 and familiarize yourself with, firstly, the original Hebrew definition of the title (not a name at all) "God", and secondly, the definition of "man". See Strong's H120 & H119. Now also read 1 Samuel 17:42, Song of Solomon 5:10, Lam 4:7 I trust you will now have a better understanding of what is meant by Son of MAN. The word "gentile" does not appear in the original languages. Neither does the word "human"! To teach contrary to the above makes one an exegesis teacher. We are commanded to rightly divide the word of Elohim!

The one thing I've ever inferred from this passage is that God thought that, even after Cain killed his brother that he was still worthy of protection. Cain was likely most hurt by Gods rejection of his sacrifice because he really did love God, but fell into the trap of "there is a way that seems right unto a man, but in the end, that way leads unto death". Another thing is that Adam and Eve made clothes of leaves (vegetation), but that wasn't sufficient. So God killed animals to make them clothes of flesh. Then Cain tried to sacrifice vegetation, but that wasn't sufficient either because God says that " blood" is needed for atonement.
