Brinley, you are the sweetest. You are growing up before our eyes. I am so please you are taking sewing classes. To get the basics down is wonderful as they do not really teach this in schools anymore. I love sewing and made sure my children had basic instructions in using sewing machine as well as hand sewing learning to sew on a button or hem a pair of pants. I love seeing the connection you have with Love when she is over, since she is an only child I am sure she looks up to you as an older sister.

BRINLEY, the best way to learn sewing skills is to put a sheet of lined school paper on top of a piece of fabric or even a paper towel and follow the lines on the paper, you'll learn to sew straight lines and most of all, it gives you lots of practice at controlling the machine!! I did this with my granddaughter when she was just 5 years old!! Lots of luck!!

Oh my 19 yr old daughter is a huge stray kids fan. It was her first concert when they came to Australia last year. Now they are coming back she is taking her 13 yr old brother for his first concert in about 10 days 😃 and we love the hunger games too. I think my daughter has read the books 4 times 😉 You are growing up so much Brinley and I love how you are so creative and talented and just happy with life. Keep smiling and shining your light 🥰

I’ve heard a few of the big designers started out by going to thrift shops, buy clothing, pull it apart, reengineer it into something fabulous. I’d love to see Brinley do something like this for all the siblings. Perhaps show the item in its original form and then show off what it becomes.

Here in SF there is an abundance of STUFF. One night recently i came across a backpack in a free pile that looked brand new.
