I was a cop 50 years ago. Every cop, fed and detective I ever knew knew Hoover was gay. But Tolson was not his lover, although many thought he was. Tolson and Hoover were best friends in the truest sense - they both wre attracted to the same type of teenaged boy. Their taste did not run to adult males - or each other. And I had that on the very best kind of testimony. Unimpeachable testimony.

Are you sure about that with Tolson? I've read somewhere that someone came to his hotel room and noticed JEH and CT were both wearing bathrobes and there was only one bed in the room.

As one of his successors pointed out, crime in the U.S. grew out of control directly because of this freak. He allowed himself to be under the direct control of the Mob, the same Mob he refused to acknowledge. His illegal activities promoted crime and ruined many innocent lives. He was the very kind of person who should never have had any authority. The man was a monster.

Cross dressers that tuck their junk between their legs when in drag to appear more feminine are called Tuckers. Tuckers also work as prostitutes and specialize in hand jobs as their hands are as tiny as the former moron-in-chief's. Rupert introduced Lachlan to Tuckers during the Reagan aids crisis and he liked them himself. Of course they did oral too, for an extra fee. It was a father/son bonding moment and I thought it was just an Aussie thing. Hiring a Tucker shows their commitment to safe sex.

I can not understand why JFK didn't simply have Hoover's office cleaned out one night after he left, had him watched overnight to ensure no one tipped him off, the next morning as soon as he left his house, had a team make entry, shut off the phone lines and keep his household staff in a secure location while ALL of his files at his residence were confiscated and sent to a secure location. Once his secretary arrived, she could have been detained with no access to a phone and when John arrived at work, be immediately escorted to the White House where his written letter of resignation was waiting. Once all the files were secured, he could be taken home. This way JFK would have had all his "secret" files and thereby taken away his "power" over people.

@Barbara Jolley it has been said that Truman had a crush on one of the killer's of the Clutter family and that is why his book is biased towards the killers ? Personally I have owned the book , but never read it( like many others ) , but if the movie is any indication of the books tone then I would say it's somewhat sympathetic towards the killers .It does tell the entire story from the perspective of the killers and the Clutter family seem like they are there merely to advance the storyline . My father always liked the movie , especially the execution scene , because it reminded him of the stark justice of capital punishment .

Charles Manson didn't like black people either, even though he suspected that he was half-black himself. In fact, the murders that he had his followers commit (Sharon Tate and her house guests, the LaBiancas, and, some say, others) were part of a plot to start a race war by blaming the crimes on black militants. (the victims were all white) Manson called it "Helter Skelter," after a song of the same name by the Beatles, which he believed contained code words proclaiming a future war between the white people and the blacks.

Gunn said his father's office was next to Tolson's and Tolson's was next to Hoovers. Gunn tells how when as boy he went to the FBI building all the time. Once he went to his father's office with his sister and their father asked if they would like to meet Vivan Vance. She was a Costar on I Love Lucy tv show and she was in Hoover's office. They went down and there was this woman in an evening gown, make up, looking very nice and she talked to them bla bla bla. Years later it came out the Hoover was a cross dresser and at a family dinner one night the family was upset because they loved Hoover for all he had done for the family. There is the old story of some meeting at Washinton hotel,a noise out the back got louder and louder. Someone asked what is it, the answer came back, it's "the coloured busboys finishing their shift".At this stage, one of the men at the table went back to tell them to keep it down. When he got there was JEDGER in the centre telling jokes and having a good time.

JFK could've survived the Oswald shots but the kill shot was an armor piercing exploding bullet that Secret Service used. The car detail were reservists as the senior experienced agents got drunk the night before. The rookie proffered his weapon to respond asap the 1st shot rang out and he accidently sent a load into JFK's head. All the casings for Oswald's shots were accounted for in the 5th floor depository window. The exploding round would not fit Oswald's rifle. The only conspiracy was the cover up. Oswald was the lone assassin.

Robert Kennedy, Attorney General, turned on organized crime making things dicey for Hoover. Hoover hated the Kennedy's and vice-versa.
