What I have heard is that approximately 30% of the republican base supports this jerk. Please remember that the Republican party is the minority of the USA population, not the majority. That's why they never win the popular vote. So about one third of the minority, right? And that assumes that these early polls are correct. Polls were wrong in 2016 and 2022, so.... That doesn't mean that anyone should be complacent, but I think we need to remember that very loud and very weird gets a lot of attention, beyond the size of their true numbers. Let's keep our heads down, make voting plans, do the work on candidate development up and down the ballot, voter registration drives, etc. Let's stay focused, do the work, and avoid getting distracted by loud shiny objects, then let's see where we are Dec 2023. Stay aware, stay voting. 🗽💙🌊🗽

When Trump finally takes a dirt nap, there will be yet another con man who any smart person can see them for who they are, yet once again, that con man will be able to fool a large percentage of the population. The proprietor also stated that he is legally blind and could not be sure whether the man was actually Hunter Biden.Three weeks before the 2020 United States presidential election, the New York Post published a front-page story that presented emails from the laptop, alleging they showed corruption by Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. According to the New York Post, the story was based on information provided to Rudy Giuliani, the personal attorney of incumbent president and candidate Donald Trump, by Mac Isaac.Forensic analysis later authenticated some of the data from the laptop, including one of two key emails used by the Post in their initial reporting. ****WOW....SO EASY TO FIND YET YOUR TO STUPID TO LOOK

The real problems that soul less democrat Joe and his democrat friends have wrought on our country are destroying the USA. Yesterday millions of Americans had to make a choice, gas in the car or food to eat. That would be $6/gallon for gas or food that has gone up 11% in the last year. On 4/28/2020 oil was $12.34 per barrel, today oil is $92.30 per barrel. In the next year the price of gasoline might double. With 7,000,000 illegal aliens having invaded our country since Joe took over, and invited the illegal aliens in, the real wages have gone down for those on the lower end of the pay scale. In 2023 over 400 companies have gone bankrupt, gone forever. Add to that disaster inflation of 8% per year, most Americans are getting poorer every day. Inflation is so bad they now use gold bars to bribe politicians! Crime is through the roof because you can steal $999 from Target and no one stops you. Democrat run Chicago has about 1 murder every day and almost none of the murderers every see a courtroom. Rich men north of Richmond includes the politicians, the government employees and the lobbyists. The useful idiots that listen to the main stream media think that Trump is the biggest problem in the USA, nope!!!XXX

And means she hasn't learned much, and hasn't changed much. Instead, she used that phrase that so many republicans say when asked if they'll vote for Trump: "I'm not going to address a hypothetical situation". It's a highly possible, if not likely situation that Trump will be the nominee. To me it means she'll vote for Trump and deliver the country over to him which is sickening to say the least. She just doesn't want to say it, and thinks she can just deflect and we won't notice? Deeply offensive! she talks the talk of feeling badly that she was complicit, but then she's willing to commit the most complicit act of all...to vote for him after everything. And I couldn't even understand her garbled word salad at the end, about she won't endorse a democrat, or a republican, or write anyone in...? I've been watching all her interviews this week and was so deeply impressed and hopeful, now I'm totally disillusioned and don't want to hear another word she utters. She seems so confused and divided. Please consider some therapy Cassidy, so that you can decide consistently who you are and what you stand for.

Please don't misunderstand me when I say this, but there still is on the paper ballot, a place for writing in the candidate you want on your voting ballot. I hope to God that Trump's name is removed from ballots. But that wouldn't stop his base of followers, they could write in his name at the place for write in candidates. But then at least even if all 50 states don't get to remove his name, hopefully there will be enough states, each state has their # of votes toward the Electoral College count, enough states with enough votes in the College denies him the chance to accumulate to win that portion of the vote, so that he could not have a chance to win. That was the only way he won out the 2 times thus far, against Hillary Clinton.

We keep hearing about poll numbers but we also have a fairly long track record with polls that demonstrate that they can no longer be counted on to be accurate reflections of how people will actually vote. People that I know who faithfully supported Trump in the past now tell me that they will not vote for him in the primary and do not want him to be in the ballot in 2024. So i find it hard to believe that he is gaining popularity in the polls.

Thank you Nicole for everything you are doing. Cassidy is a star witness, if you will. I'm also very impressed that she has come forward and is trying to ground herself in her beliefs. What she did was NOT easy! I noticed something during the interview. From the perspective of a former anti-cult operative of many moons ago I saw some signs that prompted me to think, "I hope she is in some therapy to help her". I was catching something in the way she speaks. I know she is measuring her words as one would do if possibly being called upon as a witness or what have you, but there is something else under that. It is common among fresh cult survivors. In lay speak it is called secondary confusion. It is when the person has been out of a cult situation for maybe a year or so and is now starting to second guess themselves as to their truth and "loyalties". Kind of similar to Stockholm syndrome, but not nearly as dramatic. This is a vulnerable time and talk therapy is usually the good answer to help the individual keep perspective and confirm that leaving was the only correct decision. I want Cassidy to be very well. People (or as I call them, "creatures") like Trump are extremely dangerous to anyone in their circle personally. They are the most dangerous form of sociopath. There is no hope or cure for them. They are locked in because they have practiced their whole life in perfecting their ways. Some therapist won't even see a malignant narcissist even if they wanted therapy (which will never happen anyway) because of the extreme danger those people present. They can have a strong hold on individuals even a year after the person is out of range. The individual starts to question themselves. For example: "Gee, should I have stayed loyal, maybe I would have felt better had I done so"? "Gee, did I really do the right thing here"? Creatures like Trump are as tricky as you get. This is also the concern with the half of the government Trump still controls. It may be completely hopeless where they are concerned at this point. I also had to live with such a person for three years and have been out myself for almost three years no. In my situation though I would have rather had been homeless than return to it and have not had a single second thought. Of course I also did therapy for a time the first year by medical order, which of course helped my footing. I just wish the best for Cassidy and hope she is getting any help she needs.

@ericelliott227
@ericelliott227 8 ай бұрын
@@cognoscenti11000 Well, I would not "vote" for Biden either. He is not part of the solution. That aside, I was more concerned about Cassidy's state of mental health. She is more a victim than a participant. I think doing this "book tour" is not healthy at this time. I have no issue with her doing a book, but she should have waited until she had a firm grasp on her own abilities and not just think she has it. I know she is hurting for money, but perhaps she spent her salary on luxury things instead of saving it. Yes, getting her own attorney likely cost her plenty and was the right thing to do, but she could get a job anywhere in the meantime, before seeking fame with a book tour. By the way, The only people that get paid peanuts are the lowly pages and assistants of which she was not. The rest like herself get at least $130,000 per month in pay and tax free. If she has one foot in and one foot out she may end up going back into the R side of the cult. I have a feeling she is not getting the help she needs and trying to DIY thinking she is super strong or something. She obviously still has some residual cult-thought, which is the hard bits to conquer. People think the first year or so is the hardest. That is not correct. It is the residual stuff that is more challenging. Even the strongest among us can hit a wall that they are not able to get through by themselves. It can be done, but it requires outside the box thinking, which a good therapist can provide. I'm super strong and yet I too have my limits just like anyone else. I know when I am in over my head.

Cassidy shows brightness and focus but not mature just yet on the wisdom front. I kind of understand what being conservative stands for philosophically, but the Republicans have lost the art of making it be reasonable and with good moral motives. They're now reverting to an "old West" mentality to drag the country backwards for an illusion of what they thought was an immutable passage to the future. I saw another poster referring to the beginning of their demise was when Barry Goldwater and George Wallace became a force within the party. Went downhill from there.

@@MrShobar Well, it seems that she says what she considers to be right, even though it could disadvatage her. For example, she could be attacked by a fanatical Trump supporter. That makes her honourable in my books - she stands up for what she believes in. And in interview, she states that she is Republican. Ergo - an honourable Republican. Her party needs more like her. Personally, I believe that either party would be bad for the country if it had no checks and balances, so even if Dems are in charge, we need a sufficiently strong Republican opposition - but now that Trump has split the country so radically,, that may not happen for another couple of terms

I still don’t trust her. She still seems to be struggling to fully take accountability for her own role in the tragedy that was the Trump Administration.

I don’t either. She knew who trump was from the beginning and all this democracy talk to turn around and say she doesn’t know who she’s going to vote for if trump is on the ballot??? A vote for anyone other than Biden is a vote for trump and this is coming from someone who’s an Independent and not satisfied with a Biden/trump election but it is what it is.

Clearly you have not had to sit before a committee regarding the insurrection (televised around the globe) so you have zero clue the magnitude of what this young woman was facing. She knows that if she stated anything less than the truth her future and reputation would be forever destroyed. She had the foresight and maturity to know there is no coming back from lying or hiding what really happened in the WH. She had more courage than all of Trump’s GOP lap dogs.
