Great question Taniya. Just as every aspirant, my first preference was also NLSIU. I got AIR 501 in my first attempt & got GNLU. The college offered everything I aimed for, so didn't give CLAT again. Also thanks for the kind words and all the best for future ahead!

Masters in not required. But in case a student did 5 year LLB course was from a below average college, then doing masters from a good NLU might help.

You will get sufficient time for UPSC preparation. It would be even better if you could start from the 1st/2nd year. Getting good marks in university isn't that tough. Once you get admission, you'll manage automatically.

Thanks a lot Sougata for the kind words. Yes, you have to appear for CLAT & there is NO age limit. However if you are above 21/22, I suggest not taking CLAT, rather you can opt for DU LLB or GLC 3 years LLB course.

I am thinking of preparing for CLAT I have gone through CLAT 2022 question paper and I scored 65 without any prior knowledge (my friend gave me question paper, he attempted the exam) Do you think it will be a good idea to pursue law or shall I look for something else.

@@shrutijha6786 took admission in engineering after a lots of thinking (parents were not happy tbh hearing about law) Also it would have taken 6 years from class 12th to get graduated, had I given CLAT(admission in 2028 batch). While Btech I'll receive in 4 years

CLAT is for 12th pass-outs. At this age, I won't suggest going for CLAT. Rather you should pursue LLB from some college such as DU & then practice in a court, if you want to pursue law at all.
