I was scripturally controlled in an abusive way by religionists and Yahuwah told me I would be taught by Holy Spirit. I needed to rid myself of the teaching methods of the religion and learn from scripture. The first part I studied was the the Kings and Chronicles this gave me a good foothold in understanding. The important part of worship is to know and keep the commandments. Exodus 20 1-20, I wrote them down and meditated on them. Jeremiah 31:34 All will know and be taught by Yahuwah.

What was nailed to the cross? The answer is found in Dan 9:25-27. It says Jesus Christ will come at the end of 483 years from the time that Artaxerxes king of Assyria shall make a decree to restore and build Jerusalem that king Nebuchadnezzar destroyed. And at the middle of seven years following which was 3 and a half years of Jesus public ministry will he sacrifice himself for the remission of sin. Dan 9:27 states that his death will cause the sacrificial custom of the law to cease. So it is the animal sacrifices, the burnt offerings, the sin and peace offerings, the meat and drink offerings - these rituals are the things that were nailed to the cross - these are the things Paul is saying that are against us, not the Sabbaths and the 10 Commandments.
@donaldtoms70026 жыл бұрын
One of the false teachings that prevailed in Colossae was legalism. The Old Covenant requirements of the law no longer had merit (Rom 14:3). Christ would now be the substance by which all teachings would be measured by (Heb 10-1). Man ordained religion was nailed to the cross.

Colossians 2:16 is about those guarding the Sabbaths, Festivals etc. should not let others judge them for this obedient observance. This is in support of the Sabbath as verse 14 states of the "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us" as we see the true Messiah clearly states that Sabbath was MADE FOR man in Mark 2:27 ... so it is never against us. Plus contextually in Colossians 2 verses 8 & 22 show this passage to be against the traditions, commandments and doctrines of men.

In this dispensation there is no more sacrifice for sin, we are all expected to walk righteously before Yahuwah our Heavenly Father and be perfect, and Holy, Set Apart and without blemish, even as he is. A condition that can only be attained through the sanctifying work of his Holy Spirit in our lives through whom the Law of righteousness through faith is placed in our hearts, the Law of the Spirit of life, by which all who are in the Messiah Yahushua now live. Having been cleansed from all sin, and possessing the ability to resist and overcome all manner of temptation because of the Holy Spirit that now lives in us teaching us, leading us and guiding us, finishing the work started before the foundation of the world, when it was said, "Let us make Man in our our image, after our likeness.".....being fulfilled now in us as it was also in them, who first believed and remained faithful, walking in obedience to Yahuwah through the teachings of Yahushua, growing up into him in all things, and as found written in Ephesians 4:13....Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the son of Yahuwah, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Yahushua .

W HOWM DID THE LAW COVENANT BECOME "OBSOLETE"? However, the Law covenant became in a sense "obsolete" when God announced by means of the prophet Jeremiah that there would be a new covenant. (Jer. 31:31-34; Heb. 8:13) In 33 C.E. the Law covenant was canceled on the basis of Christ's death on the torture stake (Col. 2:14), the new covenant replacing it.---Heb. 7:12; 9:15; Ac. 2:1-4.

To understand what is happening please think about this.... A bad person murders a person and when he was brought to the judge... The judge simply cancels PENAL CODE and leaves the murderer free. What does it mean to you... So after this any body can murder any body because the penal code is not existing? Now you will understand Yeshua HaMassiach brought freedom from death penalty not by canceling the LAW but He is saving people who believe Him by dying instead of them not by canceling Law

I am a gentile. With a wonderful name like Joseph Moses, perhaps you are not a gentile or alternatively have adopted a Jewish name by conversion into Moses. St Paul clearly says, "The law was a child conductor to bring us (Jews) to Christ." That 'us' is commonly misconstrued as an evangelical basis for existential remorse and psychological repentance, but 'us' refers to no one but the fleshly line of Abraham, not gentiles, i.e., the law was from Moses until Christ (2 Cor 3, Gal 3: 23 Before the coming of this faith,[b] we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed. 24 So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. 25 Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian). It was a national/cultural constitution specifically not for Gentiles (See Acts and the council of Jerusalem and Paul in Athens). The 'our' and 'us' of Gal 3 is specifically NOT gentiles. The very reason for the Epistles of Romans and Galatians and Hebrews etc was to draw this exact distinction. Thus I say, I am a gentile, not a Jew. Even Abraham and his offspring of faith, were saved in Christ apart from the law, for the law came 430 after Abraham. The dichotomy is not the law or nothing as your comment implies (law or chaos), the dichotomy is the law or the Spirit of God. While religion treats the Spirit as mere theory or a dogma, even biblical dogma, interpretations such as the one you offer will flourish, and they must, for where the Spirit of the Lord is treated only as a dogma, sin must be restrained by all means even moralistic religion which cannot save or set one free. Where there is no Spirit but only a theory of Spirit, then mechanisms such as those of law and religious psychological bondage will flourish and the inevitable outcome (is) what we have today throughout Christendom. Nevertheless, it is also written t, "To be sure, sin was in the world before the law was given, but sin is not charged against anyone’s account where there is no law," (Rom 5:13)" These are scandalous statements to any form of religion that is driven by dogma and abstract moral imperatives rather than the Spirit of God. Religion that is merely and torturously theoretical has no liberty or life or power in it being 'a form of religion denying the power therefore, which is me in Christ and Christ in me. The fact is, that the religious approach has been buried in Christ, and if not in Christ then it will be buried with us and Christ will have died in vain. After all, Jesus of Nazareth was opposed by religion, not by local sinners (read the Gospels again). The gospel is first and foremost the justification of God to our polluted consciousnesses within our religious paradigm(s); that is the meaning of the incarnation... born under the law... but we refuse to leave those paradigms, the very paradigms that he died in, under and to. "He came unto His own but His own received Him not", rather they wanted to make Him religious... and that we have done in our Judaeo-Christian images. Christ ended all that... (if you will)... for "For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes, (Rom 10:4)." But again, religion would try to restrict that glorious declaration to an abstract declaration where in fact it means a whole lot more for, "It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God - that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption, (1 Cor 1:30)". Furthermore, the whole of this passage (1 Cor 1:20-30) undoes religious wisdom calling it the foolishness of the world. Christ is not only our 'righteousness' but also our 'sanctification' (v 30). Why that distinction? Because, righteousness of that genre and measure of law is never, in any sense what the gospel is referring to. Though religion would resurrect abstractions of morality 'post conversion', the good news for us, and the bad news for the priests and religious franchises is that Christ is also our sanctification. We do not progressively adjust to moral abstractions of the tribe, but to the very image of the Son Himself who is all grace and graciousness. Thus it is promised, "Walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfil the lusts of the flesh' among which is specifically included the will to personal righteousness contra our righteousness and sanctification 'in Christ' and 'in Christ alone'. Any other approach is the undoing of faith, and thus also the undoing of joy and the freedom to walk in the Spirit.

John Cahill even Adam and eve were told by Saturn if they eat the tree of knowledge of good and evil they won't die but be like God Saturn always plant knowledge that the law of God shall not be kept but we are saved by Christ but we should keep his commandments if we loves him pls read your Bible about what Jesus said about commandments
@JohnCahillChapel7 жыл бұрын
Yes. Thank you Jack. In fact I have done that. And specifically the texts on the commandments in the Bible... for many years. And my conclusion is this: "You search the scriptures because in them you think you have life, but it is they that testify of me." The simple fact is that determined obedience to commandments does not empower to keep them according to the real righteousness of God which is was and always will be only 'in Christ', and nowhere else, before, during or after you come to believe. But many believers are taught to put the yoke back on, as you imply here. Even though St Paul said, "As to the law, I was perfect", still he did not know the righteousness of God; rather, he persecuted the believers in the name of the commandments and the temple. When St Paul said In Galatians that the 'law was a child conductor to bring us to Christ," he was rationalising regarding "us Jews (Israelites)" and in the context by contrast with you Gentiles. "You are not Jews, why do you want to come under that burden? For freedom in the Spirit Christ has set you free, so don't submit to fleshly determined obedience to abstractions of morality, by contrast, "Walk in the spirit and you will not fulfil the desires of the flesh." Quite different to your implications, but you are not alone. When Christianity is just a mental theory, a tight dogmatic system to assent to, this kind of exhortation is what is produced; nothing about grace, not mechanism for obedience, no imparted power, nothing, just get forgiven and do the commandments. This Judaeo-'Christianity' is so weighed down .. it is spiritual poverty. Nevertheless, most of the Judaeo Christian world supports you ... but I would not be too encouraged by that. "Do not submit again to a yoke of Bondage" he says to those believers who come from a temple background. Have you read the instructions of the Council of Jerusalem to the Apostles and those foundation members of the NT church in Book of Acts? Or to Paul's sermon to Gentiles in Athens (Acts again). Check these things out, just as you exhort me to read my bible, so I say it to you. Read the Bible as a Christian, in the light of the Gospel. Let Christ be your exegetical principle; '... [the scriptures] testify of me' and if you do not see how, then you are not reading Christianly. Those Acts passages answer the issue very well indeed. What shall we tell the Gentiles to do, to observe? They had very little to say and the detail that prescribed was indeed in accord with "the law of the Spirit in Christ Jesus", not the fulfilled law of of the tribe burned into stone and smashed within hours due to it's inability to save or to empower. It demands a saving Messiah, it cannot give life, never could. The earliest NT church leaders knew the Holy Spirit subjectively, in experience, as inescapable conviction in the soul, (contrast systems of heady dogma). Also, Please check seriously and deeply 2 Corinthians 3, from about verse 6 on... (if memory serves me well) ... stone v Spirit, administration of death and condemnation v spirit and life, and so on. No one has ever given me feedback on that passage because it is so definitive. I challenge you to interpret it for me. (at least from verse 4 of 2 Corinthians. Please correct me, teach me about that passage, which I think I have never heard a sermon on.) The Holy Spirit is not a doctrine, not a dogma. "The Spirit gives life but the letter kills." When Jesus says in Matthew that he did not come to destroy but to fulfill the law I absolutely agree, and that He did, perfectly... "It is finished"... The mistake is to think that he established that stone tribally tailored legislation over the heads of his followers in perpetuity. Why on earth do we have a New Convenant, establish before the foundations of the world? Why? Why this second Adam? Why? Tell me! For God's sake tell me? Save my soul, or perhaps believe! That was the ministry of condemnation... the law only stimulates fear and rebellion, even though we want and are determined to do better ... Read Romans 7, and the passages I have alluded to, then tell me to read my Bible. I do not question your faith, but your application is damning, as you might damn me, but I, my friend, I firmly believe that "Christ is the fulfilment of the law" utterly, and that He is my reputation before my Heavenly Father, and if He is not my reputation before you, then it is your faith that fails. You are obliged to 'judge no man after the flesh'. I am in Christ, and I am perfect in Christ and you and no one else will take that away from me. No one, not dogma, no perfection you may claim, no spirit, nothing in heaven and earth will take that away from me, for I am persuaded... utterly persuaded while you must still be struggling with a fair bit of Him and a dose of yourself and your obedience. I also know that you who claim to be doers of the law must be hiding so much, even from yourselves, and I know about that seemingly necessary pretence; and tragically so does the world. They world knows you are pretending to be good in terms of the law. You are not. If you were there could be no grounds for grace. There could be no saviour, no divine love of the Father for us, for we are only and ever only loved in Christ.. that it trinitarian eternal love. I am staying right there pal, either there in the love of the Father for the Son and the Son for the Father. The freedom we have in Christ welcomes us with all that darkness and says, "Hey, son, I know, and I love you for My Son's sake, eternally; join us in this love, now. Leave all that religious bag outside. This is a family situation, an eternal family situation". So I drop all that 'dung'. I am not a Judaeo-Christian, I am a believer who just happens to be a Gentile of Irish, English, Aboriginal and alcoholic descent. I take no pride in any of my credentials, I take pride only in the One "who loved me and loves me and gave himself for me, and who is my advocate before the Father. He is my Brother. Wow. Beat that mate." "Walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfil the lusts of the flesh. BTW, the primary lust of the flesh is to come to God with some pretence about having fulfilled any part of the law yourself before during OR AFTER your 'conversion'. The primary lust of the flesh is to come to God with some pretence about having fulfilled any part of the law yourself, either as a 'Pharisaical' non believer or as a confused believer, before during OR AFTER your 'conversion'. . Nevertheless, I suspect we are brothers in Christ and I hope you will look upon me graciously and deal graciously with your brother. The law is powerless to deliver from sin in any sense of the word deliverance and at any time in all of existence and in eternity. The trap for that system was set so that it could be exhausted in the cross... God allowed human merit to appear so that he could destroy it. And you guys want to resurrect it. Although Christ and St John in particular use the words 'commandments' and 'obedience', they are referring to 'the obedience of faith' ... the error of sanctification via obedience to law is the very same error of justification by law ... it does not happen, ever and it never did happen. The movement is the leaven that leavens Judaeo Christianity... This poison is now 2000 years + old, nothing new. But "Christ has become our wisdom, justification, and sanctification". So says the Bible. You want me to read the Bible, I read it because the scriptures testify of Jesus Christ and that light shines in the darkness and, for me, the religious darkness has not overcome it. I rest my case in Him. BTW, consciousness of law can get conformity such as Saul (Paul) gave achieved, (and yet he said "I was/am the chief of sinners - go figure) but the actions produced by the Spirit of God far transcend those of the law ... this is the meaning of the beautiful Sermon on the Mount. You have said, ... and you say ..., but I say don't merely refrain from this and that (thous shalt not), but give, give, give. Transcend through the inner Spiritual imperatives and the power and motivation inspired by the Spirit of God IN you ... not in the abstractions of laws and words in the brain and memory. This is much deeper than any notes can convey. Its not about an abstract narrative; it's real. God bless you.

Dear Ann Graves. I am so happy for you... for us. Thank God. How cruelly is sincerity treated, and in the name of Christ. And how obscured and clouded over can the clear light and utterly pure grace of the Father seem to be. And yet it is always with us and in us. These obscurities and obstacles are illusions, specifically planted and targeted at the simple assurance of uncomplicated faith ... but let's not waste time on those illusion now ... just rejoice, and I would even say, don't try to love... just look at that Grace and the fruit will grow ... The root is 'in Christ' - it will produce - it does produce. While re-reading those posts, something else came to mind that might be worth mentioning to a beautiful heart ... we are the new creation! not, 'we will be' but we 'are'. And finally, we 'are' perfect in Christ Jesus, not 'we will be' but 'we are'. Stay there, in Christ Jesus (Abide in Me!). It's not so complicated and it's not academic. That you see it and testify to it back to me is a most precious gift to me. Thank you. BTW, by removing all our hope of personal (independent) merit He was not demeaning us, rather He was removing every possibility of failure. Yes, it is about all glory to Him, but also about total security in Christ. As i Adam... seems unfair to many on the grounds that, "Well, I should have been give my own chance!", but that very structure of relationship is our salvation... "As in Adam all died, so in Christ shall all be made alive." You know these things. Wonderful.

Because of what is written in Gal.3. we can all understand that our salvation is no longer dependant on what was delivered to Moses, who indeed was a faithful servant, but what is delivered to us through the Son of God and his Holy Spirit, who has also given us instructions and commandments to follow, not the commandments of God given to Moses for them who were to be part of the former covenant, but the Commandments of God given to Christ for those who were to be partakers of the new, as further explained in the book of Hebrews.....particularly Heb.7:12.

+Timothy Qettelle Yet Yahushua Himself says we are to study the OT which speak of Him. Timothy Qettelle Praise God at last we have someone writing the beautiful simple truth. When Christ said It Is Finished... That's exactly what he meant. He fulfilled ALL The legal requirements. He is our Righteousness!!! In Him and Him alone we place our trust.. All Our good works are filthy rags to Yahuwah! We need the Holy Spirit to draw us to the cross. Yes.. Ephesians 2:8&9 For by Grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; Notice we are given the faith to believe!!! It is a gift 🎁 of God.. Not of works lest anyone should boast. Now That's Good News. But if we had nothing to do with our Salvation. Do you really think we can keep ourselves saved. NO there is no good news in that. Look my lovely brothers and sisters, there are so many Scriptures in the Old Testament that tell us about Yahushua. Salvation is completely trusting that Yahushua has paid it all. The love and adoration you feel and the freedom, just leads you and you need no man teaching you because the Precious Holy Spirit teaches you all things. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is Liberty. Not to come out of bondage and exchange with another bondage. The love and freedom lifts you out of the world and makes you want to live with Him forever. We don't do the work ,we are His workmanship in Christ. He works on the inside and as He does, we bear fruit on the outside. It takes time.. Just keep Loving and Trusting. Love and Blessings to you all.. I am sorry if i have offended anyone. That was never my intention. ❤️️

Romans 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2 Cor 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. 7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away: 8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious? 9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory. 10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excelleth. 11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remaineth is glorious. 12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech: 13 And not as Moses, which put a veil over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished: 14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. 15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart. 16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away. 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. Romans 7:8 But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, produced in me every kind of coveting. For apart from the law, sin was dead. 9 Once I was alive apart from the law; but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life and I died. 10 I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring life actually brought death. 11 For sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, deceived me, and through the commandment put me to death. 12 So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good. Galatians 4:9New International Version (NIV) 9 But now that you know God-or rather are known by God-how is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable forces[a]? Do you wish to be enslaved by them all over again? Please explain.

It is a wonder when the wisdom of God is such that he removed all grounds for boasting even before he "spoke" the garden of Eden into existence. The cross was already in place (crucified before the foundations of the world) well before Abraham who was well before Moses... i.e., all of 'history' is played out in the light of grace from the heavenly perspective. Christ did not make an adjustment, he is the history of the world, the life of humanity in the ''wisdom" of God. Language cannot express it well.

I think it is a form of love. But they don't understand that gods love is unconditional. We don't have to do anything to accept his approval by our works. Just repent and and believe on him. Oh yeah we to be baptised to to show we have accepted him, I for get to mention that sometimes.

Yes I think there is sincerity in it in many cases. I am encouraged by the fact of grace and the fact of God's attitude to us in Christ. Unfortunately, evangelicalism sometimes turns believing into a work, and meritorious human effort... and sometimes faith is viewed as a demand, a conditional demand, It is not a demand, it is itself a fruit of the gospel and faith grows from the Spirit of God, not from human effort. Our task is to 'water' the roots with the assurance of the good news... "I love you, I love you, I love you. Do you think you can out-sin my love for you? Look at Christ." I never picture God saying, 'No, sorry. Your belief is tainted. You've gotta believe better than that." I also think that we can, in a sense, believe on behalf of others. I do not mean this as a meritorious act. I mean, it is easy to project unbelief onto others... a kind of atmosphere of doubt about another's faith; why not turn this on its head and believe and affirm for them? Perhaps a phone call that says, "Hey brother, I just called to say 'He loves you', I know it is sometimes hard to believe against the evidence of our own sin, but that is the fight... the fight of faith. Trust God's love. Christ proves it. Believe for me too." Jesus often healed a person on behalf of the faith of that sick person's family or friends. Then there was the man who said, "Lord I believe, help me overcome my unbelief." We can support confidence in others. We can feed their hearts. We belong to each other. Our struggles are OUR struggles not just his or hers... they are mine too. It is a great privilege.

Hi Fred, I read the article, however, there is point to be made here. Jeremiah 31:31,32 31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: Elohim said he would make a new covenant with the house of Israel (Ephraim) and the house of Judah. These are the two house: Ephraim in the North and Judah in the South. Elohim said that the new covenant was not going to be like the old covenant when Elohim took all of Israel out Egypt and then gave them the commandments, ordinances and judgments to learn. Jeremiah 31:33,34 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. This is where Elohim spoke about the details of the new covenant. Elohim said, he would put the law in there inward parts and write on there hearts. Elohim will be Israel God and Israel shall be his people. No one will be teaching no one about Elohim. All Israel shall know the commandments and ordinances from the least of the people Israel to the greatest people of Israel. He also said, he will remember there sins no more. The question still remains are under the old covenant or new covenant? As it pertains to the new covenant, the criteria is there to follow to see if we are under the new covenant. I am still learning about Elohim commandments and his ways. So that means it is not in my inwards and my heart. For Elohim said he would put in my inward parts and write in my heart. We are telling our neighbors about Elohim still. Sins are still being forgiving. In the time period we are living in, this does not fit the new covenant era. The new covenant is still a future event to come when the messiah returns. The book of Hebrews mentions the same new covenant criteria twice. This book was writing many years after the messiah death and resurrection. A lot more questions may come up about sacrifice but Hosea 3:3,4 states: 4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and without teraphim: 5 Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days. We have much learning to do but this is a start.

+Ivan Espinosa the different signature of the NEW covenant [based on the same original commandments = MY LAW] is that Yahushua died showing us the great love of Yahuwah. The OLD covenant was written on stone with a [fearful] show of the terrible force of Yahuwah at Mt Sinai - fire , thunder, earthquakes etc. We now obey in LOVE not FEAR. Jeremiah 31:34 takes us up to that time of perfection in New Jerusalem. The same law is now written in our hearts as promised but we are not yet perfected. Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 2 Corinthians 3:3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living Yahuwah; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

Daniel 11:32-35 People will act wickedly against the covenant and be led into apostasy by smooth words. Those with insight will be made to stumble in order to do a refining work. We can all stumble that is why we must be careful of erroneous teaching. Love of and by means of scripture are essential for spiritual health. We need to keep partaking of the word of Yahuwah. Moses' law was the temporary, ceremonial law of the Old Testament. It regulated the priesthood, sacrifices, rituals, meat and drink offerings, etc., all of which foreshadowed the cross. This law was added "till the seed should come," and that seed was Christ (Galatians 3:16, 19). The ritual and ceremony of Moses' law pointed forward to Christ's sacrifice. When He died, this law came to an end, but the Ten Commandments (God's law) "stand fast for ever and ever." Psalm 111:7,8. 24 And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, 25 That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying, 26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee. (Deuteronomy 31:24-26) 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; (Colossians 2:14)

Nancy Arias Love is the fulfillment of the law. He who loves fulfills the law. With the help of the holy spirit of course. Jesus told us that if we love him, we will keep his commandments. Matthew 22:36-40 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
@nvateach19 жыл бұрын
Those 2 commandments merely summarizes the 10 Commandments, it doesn't eliminate them. The first 4 commandments tell us exactly HOW God commands us to LOVE Him; and the last 6 commandments tell us exactly HOW God commands us to LOVE others. Our ways are not His ways and our thoughts are not His thoughts. Because we are sinners and God is holy. Most people today don't even know where to find the 10 commandments in the Bible, and if they do they neglect to read and OBEY them. To LOVE God means to OBEY Him. One cannot LOVE God and DISOBEY Him. But humankind continuously wants to anyway because our nature is sinful. That's why we need to be born again and be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Amen!

My point is that many Christians have the erroneous belief that the Ten Commandments were nailed to the cross that's why they do not keep the 4th commandment which clearly state to "keep the seventh DAY holy". Instead people obey man instead of God, and believe the first day which really means SUN worship on Sunday. The true Sabbath is Saturday. We cannot love God unless we obey Him and only Him. Most Christians have no idea of this or don't care until Jesus returns again and it will be too late to receive eternal life with God in heaven. We need to repent and turn away from our sins now.

I do agree that the terms and conditions are the same, in fact those conditions apply to every agreement that our Heavenly Father has made with men. And I also agree that disobedience is not allowed under Grace, don't get me wrong, the LAW and the Prophets cannot be done away with for they themselves stand as witnesses to both Yahushua and our Heavenly Father Yahuwah. Now though, there are aspects of the Law that are written that cannot be performed even by born Israelites because of different reasons, and there are aspects of the Law that Gentiles who are in Christ are not obligated to perform, yet every principle of righteousness is required by both as explained in ROM.10, for as found in verse 4." For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness to everyone that believeth.".....Notice, it does not say it is "the end of the law" , but that the law is no longer the measure by which righteousness is set.The bar is now raised...Rom3; 21."But now the righteousness of God without the Law is manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets.".....for what did the Messiah say in Matthew 5:20. "For I tell you, that except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees ye shall in no case enter the kingdom of heaven."

Yahshua said to Peter "Get thee behind me Satan..." for he "(paraphrased) put the laws of man before YHWH's laws." Yahshua knew that Peter would endorse Paul. No where in the bible does it say that the apostles (even the true ones) are infallible. In fact, Peter himself was proven to be weak by denying Yahshua 3 times. Yahshua even told him 3 times to "take care" of His flock... meaning he knew the great "falling away" would occur. Salvation by "grace alone" is the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which Yahshua says he "hates" in Revelation. That is what Paul taught. Let us hold YHWH's and Yahshua's words above those of man. I agree that following statutes does not promise salvation. I agree because of Yahshua's words... but Paul caused people to throw them away, and hold NO reverence for YHWH's laws. That is not what Yahshua said, who "came not to destroy the law." Yahshua said the "greatest" of the commands are to love the FATHER and your neighbor... but that is what the 10 commandments tell you to do! The first 4 are to love the FATHER, and the last 6 are to love man. Paul is the false apostle. Yes, the word is divinely inspired, but look at what the prophet Ezekiel wrote: "Thus sayeth YHWH, that if that prophet be deceived when he say a thing, I AM the one who deceived him." Get it? It's all part of the plan, to separate the wheat from the tares. Tares are those who put the laws of man before YHWH's. Sub me.

Much good here, but I can not see that it was only our sins that was nailed to the cross. Rom 7:4 Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God. Rom 7:5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death. Rom 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. 1Ti 1:7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. 1Ti 1:8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; 1Ti 1:9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, Be blesswed you all and rest in Jesus and be quick to repent (turn away from) when you have fellen back to the old adam. This teaching fails to understand that there is two covenants. The law and covenant of promise. Galatians 4:19-26 KJVS [19] My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you, [20] I desire to be present with you now, and to change my voice; for I stand in doubt of you. [21] Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? [22] For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. [23] But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. [24] Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. [25] For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. [26] But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. Inheritance is not of the law, Gal 4:30, simply because human flesh, and the lusts thereof, is too weak to observe the law. Romans 8:3-4 KJVS [3] For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: [4] That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. Those that seek to justify themselves through the law fail to submit themselves unto the righteousness of God. Romans 10:3 KJVS [3] For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. www.justifiedfreely.com

The law is a tutor leading to Christ....Galations 3:19: What purpose then does the law serve? It was added because of transgressions, till the Seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was appointed through angels by the hand of a mediator. 20 Now a mediator does not mediate for one only, but God is one. 21 Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could have given life, truly righteousness would have been by the law. 22 But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe. 23 But before faith came, we were kept under guard by the law, kept for the faith which would afterward be revealed. 24 Therefore the law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25 But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. Sons and Heirs 26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. 27 For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. 28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. 29 And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

No I don't imagine questioning is persecution at all. Neither do I seek hardship. I consider the suffering I see in this world as a great burden and hardship. It is unbearable to know many millions of children and thier parents are being slaughtered some surviving with limbs blown off whilst people safe at present are given a chance to listen to truth and refuse. The suffering in the world is grotesque and denial of Yahuwah is also grotesque. because both are linked.

You will see the works of the flesh are manifest which are all found in the torah of the first covenant. the next fruits of the spirit are our calling in which there is no rebuke and therefore no transgressions. Rom 13:10 The two covenant walks are described in ch 5 of galatians. We are not under the law, but dead to it ROM7:1-4. that is not the new law as in GAL6:2, but the 1st covenant only.

Revelation 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter through the gates into the city.

Dueteronomy 28:1 - 14 was nail to the cross, it is the law that was place on the outside of the Ark, Deu 31:26. It is called the curse of the Law. Exodus 40:20 was not nail to the cross. My people perish for the lack of knowledge.

Let God be the judge. i am not judging you as I showed the word of God before John 12:47;48 I (Jesus) came not to judge the world but to save the world. He who does not receive me (Jesus) and does not receive my sayings has one to judge him; The word I have spoken will judge him. I (me) am not showing you this as a judgment against you but for your own discernment. Why don't you read the scriptures before accusing people on a religious program?

Forgiven is everyone who real regret for hisown sinner, and no sinned anymore .Those who continue make sin again and again this will not to be forgiven .For this Pray to everyday for our sinner to the Jesus and always pray in the Father of the Jesus .Jesus died for our sinners but doesn;t mean that we is free of the sinner us .Everyday one of us make a or two sin .Those who will no regret for his sin .he is not be forgiven

I agree religion and goodness are not the same thing. There are many false, greedy people claiming to be Christian. It is good to discern who they are and avoid them. I don't have any dealings with religious organisation but I have not turned away from Yahuwah. There is always an element of truth in what false greedy people teach. Even the RCC teaches some good. I learn from others and the bible. The WLC I cannot fault. As I wrote before interpretation belongs to God. 2nd Peter 1:20

No I have not got you pegged as anything of the sort. John 12:48 It is the word Yahushua has spoken that will judge you, me and all mankind in the last day. John 17:3 "This means everlasting life their taking in knowledge of you the one true God and the one you sent forth Jesus Christ. I would have thought you would realise that many will cleanse and whiten themselves but you chose to pin the negative part of scripture on yourself and say I am prejudice. It is the word of God from scripture

So true SiiouteSapphire1106 , as if works will save someone. Some men think its all aboy them , where in fact its all about Christ. God will throw all of us in the Lake of fire and will still be happy cause His Son is next to Him. One should ask oneself , Why would God give His Son all Authority and why does He have the TheName above all names. Some people just dont have love. My wife use to say they serve the things of God but not the God of the things.: )

I don't understand , how you can support the CROSS when the CROSS is a Pagan symbol of the Catholic church. YAHUSHA was crucified on a Tree, not a CROSS as is being taught by Christianity.

Nothing was nailed to a 🕇! Our Messiah was hung on a living tree, not a pagan Roman cross! NO GRAVEN IMAGES! Acts 5:30-32 (KJV) 30 The God [Yahuah] of our fathers raised up Jesus [Yahushua], whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. Acts 10:39 (KJV) 39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: Acts 13:29 (KJV) 29 And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre. 1 Peter 2:24 (KJV) 24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. Galatians 3:13-14 (KJV) 13 Christ [Yahushua] hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ [Yahushua]; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith. Deuteronomy 21:22-23 (KJV) 22 And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree: 23 His body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God [Yahuah] that thy land be not defiled, which the Lord thy God giveth thee for an inheritance. Other verses about hanging: Genesis 40:19 (KJV) 19 Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the bird Esther 2:23, 5:14, 6:4, 7:9 Genesis 40:22, 41:13 Deuteronomy 21:23 Joshua 8:29, 10:26, 2 Samuel 17:23, 18:10, 21:9, 21:12 Matthew 18:6, 27:5 Mark 9:42 Luke 17:2, 23:39 Acts 5:30, 10:39 Galatians 3:13 This is where lynching comes from! Hanging on a tree [nailed to a single vertical piece of wood that was fastened to a tree or hung from a gallow by the neck].

Great Video, just would have been better with the King James Version., Also to say Jesus, instead of the other names, so people that are not aware of those names, would know who it was talking about!!!

The cross had nothing to do with Jesus Christ. The cross is, in fact, pagan in origin. The cross is, in fact, pagan in origin. The New Catholic Encyclopedia admits: "The cross is found in both pre-Christian and non-Christian cultures." Various other authorities have linked the cross with nature worship and pagan sex rites. Why, then, was this pagan symbol promoted? Apparently, to make it easier for pagans to accept "Christianity." Nevertheless, devotion to any pagan symbol is clearly condemned by the Bible. (2 Corinthians 6:14-18.)

My other question was why you say its silly to believe when we are both commenting on a religious site. Perhaps you want some direction or perhaps you just want to tell people they are silly. The intelligence of the world is sensible to the people who do not know or accept the world was created by an Almighty, just and loving Power. But the intelligence of the world created WMD and is heading toward oblivion. This world is in grave danger. I pray you and many like you will choose salvation

Sin is the transgression of the law. If there is no sin, then there is no need for law If there is no sin or breaking of law then there would be no need for Jesus. We are saved by grace through faith in Christ Christs death allows us to go before the throne of grace and mercy to ask for forgiveness of our sins/transgression of law in and of our immoral/carnal spirited acts

You don't understand your own thoughts. Hate Yahuwah if you will I will Love Yahuwah the source of all light. I Fear to do anything that would harm the faith of others that is the Fear of Love. I Fear the ignorance and depth of sorrow this ignorance brings but if the ignorant were to take steps towards knowing their Loving and Almighty Lord Yahuwah they would be part of the healing of the burden false worship and hate is bringing upon the world YHWH created. I Love my God and I Fear for good

Easter, Christmas, Valentine's Day, worshiping under steeples and doing it on Sunday mornings are renamed Babylonian sun god ceremonies, under an idol! Yahuwhe is slandered by being mixed with such wickedness and trading His real names for those of Ba'al: God and Lord, so He cursed us (Jeremiah23:27) just like Judah. (2nd Corinthians6:14-18) In the answer: 2nd Chronicles 7:14, Wicked, in English and Hebrew, means sorcery! Teaching these traditions to children earns a special curse! (Mark 9:42)

Strong, sore and unrelenting is the sword of the Lord GOD of Hosts who will punish inquity in His wrath, as it is written: "Vengeance is mine says the Lord, I will recompense." Great is the justice of Jesus Christ against the transgressors. Great is the fierceness and wrath of Almighty GOD. The cursed shall suffer the vengeance of eternal fire. Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. The Lord will visit the wicked in His great anger. He will pour out of His fury as streams of brimstone.

Jesus ordered us to be one. Read your history. There was only 1 christian Church that has lasted since Jesus died It was not started by a man. The only Church not started by a man. It gave the World the Bible. All other Christians groups sprang from this Church and took the parts they wanted and left the rest and has attacked her forever. Find the Church that Jesus started and join that one.

Colossians 2 is speaking about the Mosaical Law being nailed to the cross. The first covenant has been made obsolete by the crucifixion of Jesus (Heb. 8:13). There is no longer a need for animal sacrifices as it was under the old law, because Jesus has made one sufficient sacrifice for all men for all time (Heb 10:11-14). The Mosaic Law was given to the Jews and has only ever been applicable to the Jews. Those who practice the Jewish religion today are rejecting the New Covenant in the death of Jesus on the cross and they have fallen from grace as a result (Gal 5:4). Romans chapter 7 goes into great detail about how the "Law" brought death, because we deserve death when we break the commandments, but the New Covenant provides hope by grace through faith, and that is the Good News of the Gospel.

Fred WLCTeam It seems to me you are preaching two different gospels. One of Law and one of Grace. Very confusing for a baby Christian. Normally i love your videos and even in this one it's very beautiful. But Christ fulfilled the Law. When He said it is Finished, Every Legal Requirement was met. Yahushua did it all and by His Precious Blood we are saved. He is Enough!! Our hope and trust is in Him and Him alone. Love and Blessings to you all..

the word fullfill in matthew 5:17 in the greek translation is plura which means the same thing as fully preach so when he said he came to fulfill the law he said that he came to fully preach the law

i know you are trying uphold all the Hebrew stuff and are dedicated to it. But isn't time to come to out of the shadows and accept the peace that god offers. Have you ever look at a catalog to order something and saw the image of what it was you wanted. That is kind of what the Law is to us. Now Jesus came to show what god was like . Not the shadow but the visible part of god. That is why god showed Moses his back side because they were not ready accept him as he was. The sanctuary was the replica in heaven of what it looked like. It was in the shape of the cross. Jesus fulfilled the law and prophets In Hebrews 10 it tells about what Jesus did. When we come to Christ we have no need of a school master.

Nothing was nailed to the cross because there was no cross involved, Jesus was impaled on a stake, the cross (a Satanic symbol) was adopted by Simon Magus and the proto Catholic apostasy. However Jesus did say we should obey his commandments, and they were - To love God above all things, your neighbour as yourself and to keep abstaining from blood, the ten commandments and the laws of Leviticus died with Jesus's death.
