And as soon as the site was cleared it was announced that the fire (which would burn for decades) was out. Now we know from media reports that it was in the way of HS2. Go figure.

Fires need oxygen, unlike EV Batteries.

Don’t think people realise the size of the carbon footprint it takes to build an EV vehicle. The reason they don’t make them have a long range is due to that footprint being far greater than the footprint of a petrol engine vehicle!
