Here in the Netherlands we learn that the VOC was created because the competition between dutch trading companies was so high that they weren't making profits anymore. So the government decided to merge all the small companies to create one huge company which held a monopoly on the dutch trade with the east.

Extra Fun fact: The Dutch financed their ships by selling a piece of the ship (virtually) to the people in the NL. when they then came back from their journey and sold all merchandise, the people who had a part of that ship, got a part of the profit. This is actually the beginning of the stock markets as we know it today.

@@MeiinUK yeah well and it was alot safer to invest like 5 % each of 20 different ships as it was to invest 100% on 1 ship since sailing was still a very dangerous undertaking and it was alot less risky to put all your money on a single ship + it made it alot more accesable for people to invest in the spice trade.

Vienna Alexandria System is the problem 🏡 Our Life should be around these Great Qualities..... 1, Show all living creatures; all the love and kindness as much as you can. 2, Only try to be honest with yourself. If you try to be honest with others, you will get into big trouble soon or later. 3, Aim only one target at a time; otherwise you are chasing two rabbits and you will miss both. So, the reason behind it. Have one powerful reason and never ever give up the one you want the most. 4, Don't try to be good person only but be the powerful person. We will grow to be the one or we will die. There is no other choice. 5, Always learn and look for to improve something your life. 6, You are not alone. Love and faith the high power reduces unnecessary stress in life. But never completely rely on it. 7, Success and happiness are the byproducts of our usefulness. So, always increase the possibility of success. 8, Life is not going to be easy. Because of our unnecessary things. Eliminate all the unnecessary things as much as you can by organising yourself well with the environments. 9, Never believe anything without the proper evidences. 10, Always try to give more than you take. Because it is dignity/ character of the divinity within you. 🌎 As long as people continue to see themselves as separate from everything else, they lend themselves to being completely enslaved. Success depends on how well we relate to everything around us. Joy comes from that bliss of connectedness. I believe that unarmed truth and love will have the final word in reality. To love; you should have good heart. I am a good person until I see a person better than my standard of goodness. Being good is the progress towards a worthy cause. Love is God. Whoever lives in love, lives forever. How selfish it is to try to keep something forever? Love is all about nourishing, nurturing, sharing and expanding the love within you for all. The principle to which we adhere to is that we have kindness of love at heart for the whole of mankind. As long as there is the unnecessary differences within us; we can not live peacefully so we have to eliminate all the unnecessary differences among us so we can love all. People abilities may vary but not there true love. If we love a person/ God for a reason then we love the reason but not the person. No reason is the reason to love the person because true love never fails. So do not compare or measure the true love as first or the last but love all truly. If you love people truly then you can understand people. If you don't love then you don't understand people at all. People are controlled by system why? The Cyclical Consumption is the current economy all over the World. It is making the scarcity problems of the earth finite resources to deteriorate day by day. Current Monetary System is legalised theft. Real money is Gold and Silver. Scarcity gives the money more value. Real money won't lose it's value. When Governments stay away from Gold & Silver then very easy to transfer the wealth / resources to upper class the Rich (Corporatocracy) Elite. When the Governments are printing out more new fiat currency with reserve banks, our old currency is losing its purchasing power everyday. They are printing millions of currency everyday. All governments and laws are existing right now to transfer wealth to upper class the rich elite. The USA Government & other Governments are in many countries, bailed the investment banks & financial institutions in 2008 against the majority of the people. There is no democracy in any countries. Because of the Money System based on profits motive only above all else even humans lives and well-being. So, we do not have freedom to protect our values with the money so on. The violence, bankruptcy & all the negativities are build into the Monetary System of our society. All are owned (including ourselves) by Reserve Bank. Which is private cartel the corporation. So, in legal system, we are legally considered as chattel the properties. They make money in the capital markets with our birth certificates. They do not consider us as Humans. That's the truth. We are at the invisible war with the Elites (Corporatocracies). We have to fight for our Freedom. Resource Based Economy is the Solution. We have to declare the earth resources as the heritage of all the people of this world. So everyone has access to it. Please have your research about zeitgeist movement then you know the truth more. Truth About Health/Drugs Industry Because Of It Your Life At High Risk The drug industry is a 1/2 trillion dollars a year worldwide conglomerate. Almost 300 billions dollars just in North America. That is really big business. What would happen if everyone were well? There is no money in health. You see, good health makes a lot of sense but it doesn't make a lot of dollars. Because everything they do is toxic. Every drug they use, prescription drugs, all drugs are liver toxic, bar none. If you've had amalgam fillings put in your mouth by dentists. It is highly toxic. There's cancer because most of the chemos are themselves carcinogens. To view the tumor as the cancer and we know the tumor is not the cancer. The cancer industry is 200 billions dollars a year. The more work they get, the more profit there is. You have to dismantle; If the truth ever came out about what we would need to do. 30% of people of females in America are at risk of getting, will get cancer of the breast. The ones that are already dead have been grossly mistreated by the medical profession and by the government that supposedly is supposed to encourage free research and development of all possibilities. Why would medical doctors who studied medicine and practice medicine and are heavily funded by pharmaceutical companies why would they go and look into vitamins? That they never had the answer orthomolecular. And as more and more of our population start taking their health into their own hands, there's going to be even more and more of changes. It can't go on the way it is. The system is failing apart. We must make nutrition the primary prevention strategy for the population. You are what you eat. You are everything that you have ever done to yourself. The choices you make directly affect the outcome of your life. - (Food Matters Documentary in Netflix) 😊 Well, I truly love God. I am not religious but very spiritual person. So, I believe 1) Religion is the beliefs in someone experiences But spirituality is having my own experiences. The mainstream religions people promote religious ideology by giving guidelines and guide but In my spiritual life; I do not want anyone or anything between God and me to restrict my freedom to worship God. 2) We do not need any authorities to do good work. The god work is the good work always. In contrast; organised mainstream religions are claiming that they have the authorities to do God works as leaders so on. 3) God is not capable of doing wrong thing, change the past for us and create anything out of nothing for us. Nothing means not anything. So, even God is limited. The mainstream religious people believe that God is unlimited. 4) God wants us to take responsibilities for our righteousness life but not for all the consequences of our actions because they are continued to exist among us. So, How can god punish us for all our consequences? The mainstream religious people believe we are full of sins because of all our actions. 5) Freewill is an illusion. People always choose the perceived path of greatest pleasure. So, we do not have choices all the time. In contrast teachings of the mainstream religions are promoting people to do god's will always because we all have choices of freewill always. 6) We can not separate everything into groups. So, everything for good and evil and there's no success and failure for everything. If everything is real then real things can not be threatened. Once you come to understand that God/The Holy Spirit is in each of us, You will no longer need a Book to tell you how to live. Then why we need religious scriptures? The Virtue is the expression of the basic goodness in our actions. The Basic goodness is the fundamental worthiness of every individuals. We are worthy to God always in everything. 7) Beliefs in a cruel God makes a cruel man. No matter what; every living creatures has the right to live and What makes their life cheap? Everything depends on everything. Nothing too big or too small in value. We can not love and hate at the same time; Being a vegetarian means love without cruelty happily. The mainstream religious people are killing people and sacrificing animals in the name of God. They promote God's cruel punishments. The Punishment is endless for Sinners/Devil according to religious scriptures. But God is love always. Overcome hate with love. If all religions for peace, unity? No way. Because they are not for peace. 8) Well, The God gave us everything to go from moment to moment in our lives as we do our part and pray only to thank god then the Love is in progress. The Love is always for everyone. We are always worthy of the God's love. Our greatest fear is; not to be loved by anyone but we are all loved by someone. When we eliminate all our unnecessary differences among us then true peaceful life is possible with the true love. If we can't find the peace within ourselves then we will never find it anywhere else. 9) This is the Fight for independence and freedom of humanity to worship God freely without religious guide and guidelines to restrict us. Unnecessarily, We do not want third party controls over us in anything ; especially in spirituality. 10) Revive Survive Thrive. Sincerely, The Real Peacemaker against religious oppression. kzbin.info/www/bejne/fpPZdKuDm8h-rJY kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJCwqZ2ap8lqidk kzbin.info/www/bejne/rX3dlpShgKhpnKc kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmnZeZRur6lqoLs kzbin.info/www/bejne/pnqteX2webaWiK8

And then you can add up all the paintings, artwork, books, gold, ...... Well, many of these are so valuable you can't even put a price on them. Finally, members of the Catholic Church contribute $millions in donations every week, and have been doing so for centuries. In fact, the Catholic Church has probably so much hidden wealth that you couldn't even begin to estimate it.

The Dutch weren't worried so much about the English at the time, their rise to world domination came later. You have to realise they created this company while being half occupied in their 80 year long independence war against the Spanish empire, the largest empire at the time. That's the reason they created the company in the first place. The spice markets in Lisbon were closed to them because of the war so they had to find their own spice routes. To be able to fund this whilst at war they basically created the first stock exchange to get money now for profits to others later. With a margin of a whopping 1500% this became very successful and aided immensely in the land reclamation the Netherlands has become famous for now. Even though trade with the Baltic was way more important, it really helped put a burden on the extremely widespread Spanish empire and aided immensely in the struggle for independence.

Donkey men and their empire nonsense. Roman Empire?? no one is speaking Italian in Egypt it is Arabic. Britain so called primitive thinking empire was defeated by India, one non-violent man. India was the jewel in the crown, without India there was no Empire. The Western Civilizations only really gained power approx. 600 yrs ago. First was the Eastern Civilizations(Arabs, Israel, Persia, India) this was a separate race, which had nothing to do with the Europeans, Africans, Orientals. Egypt was Native Egyptians, not Native Africans. The Pharaoh's belief system was rebirth, the Lotus Flower(the Indian Prince "Buddha" who colonized Asia), the snake head gear over the third eye symbolizing primitive energy to enlightenment. The Eastern Civilizations went corrupt and Israel, the Middle East, India were created. The Eastern Civilizations were to create "Heaven on Earth" but man's ego created religion and the treated of women is disgusting. All the teachers of all the faiths are from the Eastern Civilizations because it is their history, their narrative. The Old Testament names, stories are similar e.g. Sarai, Amir, Shemi because it was their spiritual history, it does not matter what religion you are, this is how planet Earth has been colonized. Ancient India is related to all. The civilizations that actually thinks for the betterment of mankind, and understands Ancient India will be the true Empire not the false illusion donkeys. Yeshiva(Lord Shiva a.k Jesus) was Jesus real Jewish Eastern Civilization name, Jesus was given to assimilate with the Greek deity Zeus. Europe understood the power of Yeshiva's words and at the beginning created beautiful civilizations but Europe's thinking was primitive, like their mythology of Satan who could not accept the creation of the other. Europe could not accept the creation of other civilizations especially the first creation of the Eastern Civilizations , so they created WAR!!! and that is the mess of this planet. The Vatican is a business with it's own bank and will/has done everything for the business. Europe should have been thankful for the 50+ beautiful countries blessed to them and made friends with other civilization created by God in his image, then they would have had true Power not the false primitive illusion of one today. Europe should have mixed with Asia. Look at the stars at night, 100X bigger than Earth. We should have studied this, been seekers of the truth..... the civilization that actually thinks for the betterment of mankind and understands ancient India will take mankind into the next step in human evolution...because Creation/God will always fight for it's truth. Europe has had many many internal/external wars, recently WW1,WW2 MILLIONS have died- Europe is not above Karma. It installs a puppet gov. to steal it's resources and wealth but some just don't want it's freedom so we bomb them into submission and give them "freedom" with their unimaginable occupation by the corporation's military.

The Dutch East India's quasi-governmental power wasn't unusual in Europe at the time, as it's true precursors were the trade unions/guilds. One of the larger guilds was the Hessian League in which most Baltic shipping companies were part of and had the largest fleet in that sea and a list of autonomous neighborhoods in various countries. What separates the Dutch East Indies is that both it was a nation sized league, and it was into the newly popularized stocks.

Boogey MANN System is the problem 🏡 Our Life should be around these Great Qualities.....

One point to keep in mind: you mention that people could expect to live fewer than 40 years. While average life span was much lower, that was primarily due to much higher child mortality rates. If someone manages to get through early childhood they could in fact expect to live into their 70s or even 80s. The average life span thing is so often misinterpreted.

Apple isn't in a bubble, but their business model does speculate the same kind of human behavior. The only reason people bui iPhones is because it's a status symbol. Careful analysis of the market indicates that there are other products out there which are either better, cheaper or both. But apple can afford to do this because it eliminates wild speculation. As long as the prices are carefully controlled and they don'ts screw up big time (after all their products are high quality) they can afford toi keep this business model. People buy into this...

The Dutch East India Company (VOC; Verenigde Oost-indische Compagnie), founded in 1602, is often considered as the first true multinational corporation. From the 17th to the 18th century trading companies such as VOC (and its British counterpart; the East India Trading Company) acted on behalf of European governments in Asia. As joint stock companies they were private mercantilist tools with a guarantied trade monopoly in exchange of rights paid to their respective governments. They were almost states by themselves with their own ships (military and merchant) and military forces. Their initial goal was to develop trade links for prized commodities such as pepper and as time progressed they became increasingly involved in the control and development of their respective territories. In 1610, VOC gained a foothold in Batavia (Indonesia / Dutch East Indies) and conquered most of the island of Ceylon (Sri Lanka) by 1640, establishing the stronghold of Galle. The major trading hub of Malacca was taken from the Portuguese in 1641. By the mid seventeen century VOC has replaced most local trading networks with their own with a series of fortified trading posts. Cape Town (South Africa) was also founded in 1652 as a crucial stage for the long Europe-Asia voyage. Later, plantations, which forced the introduction of new forms of cultivation such as coffee in West Java (1723), were established. It resulted in a growing quantity and variety of cargo being traded. The company essentially achieved for about a century a monopoly on nutmeg (meat preserver) and cinnamon trade and raked substantial profits. Most of it was coming from the “Spice Islands” in the Dutch East Indies. By 1750, VOC employed around 25,000 people and was doing business in 10 Asian countries. However, mainly due to corruption and mismanagement the company faced bankruptcy in 1799 with its holdings transferred to the Dutch Crown. When VOC first came to Asia, ships made the long distance trip back and forth from Europe. Later, a trade network composed of two layers was established, reminiscent of a hub-and-spoke structure. A regional trade network was serviced by smaller ships that called along coastal trading routes a variety of ports throughout the region. The goods where then collected in large warehouses in protected strongholds; Batavia (Indonesia) and Galle (Sri Lanka) were the most significant. Traded commodities included textiles, pepper and yarn from India; cinnamon, cardamom, and gems from Sri Lanka. Some were traded only over short distances, while others traveled greater distances, such as between Indonesia, China and Japan. Other commodities, such a cinnamon and nutmeg were mainly exported back to Europe. To do so, much larger “return ships” of 500 to 1,000 tons were used for the long haul which included a stopover in Cape Town. The route and the season these ships traveled was configured to take maximum advantage of dominant winds. On the inbound route from Amsterdam, ships essentially crossed the Atlantic to reach the South American coast and then catch the fast Westerlies that would bring them to Cape Town. From there, the Westerlies brought the ships straight across the Indian Ocean towards Australia and then a sharp turn north to Batavia or Galle. The return route was more direct and took advantage of the southeast bound winter monsoon winds.

The VOC had 6 "chambers", 6 important Dutch cities. They invented "stocks" to reduce the risk of losing a ship, so they were forced to work together. Furthermore the VOC ships did a lot of trading by ship when they were underway. Trading Salt was very profitable. Back in the days, the VOC had no religious reasons for going worldwide. They never 'colonized' the country just established a refueling station and the VoC later helped the French and Dutch Huguenot refugees come to the land. It was the Huguenots that established the country. . But the VoC story sounds similar to the Hudson Bay company that traded fur and established Canada. The company exists to this day.

V.O.C stands for Vereenigde Oostindische Compagnie which was founded in 1602 - 1799 due to bankruptcy caused by corruption. V.O.C is headquartered throughout Indonesia called Batavia (Jakarta). When V.O.C went bankrupt in 1801 it was taken over by the Queen of the Netherlands named Wilhelmina until 1943 it was changed to the Dutch East Indies before Japan took control of Indonesia. Actually, the VOC and the Dutch East Indies were in different positions, because the VOC was only centered in Indonesia, trading in many countries from 1602 to 1799, but if it was named Dutch East Indies, it was the name of the region which was changed by Queen Wilhelmina in 1801-1943. different. Even the history of V.O.C is very clearly visible and still exists today in Indonesia, whether it's buildings, weapons, paintings, place names and so on. Likewise, during the Dutch East Indies era, there is also a clear history, such as one example: the Wilhelmina railway tunnel in Indonesia. So many ordinary people misunderstand, actually V.O.C and the Dutch East Indies are different things but in the same place, namely Indonesia, not India. Even V.O.C is said to be more concerned with the development of Indonesia than the Netherlands itself, which in the end when V.O.C went bankrupt was taken over by Wilhelmina, it was completely converted into the Dutch East Indies under the direct auspices of the Dutch kingdom.

@@bretert Well the trafficking of slaves was more lucrative to the east india than the actual final sale since the slaves were offloaded at port then sold for more by private sellers at slave auctions after the fact. NEver said the East INdia Company didnt make their money off of spices, but when you look at the margins and the treatment of people that ended up being enslaved wherever the East India company went, its still odd the vid didnt talk about it at all, especially since it was directly related much of the time to their presence. And forced labor, for whatever meager pay, can still be slavery. Just because people are making a fraction of a fraction of money, can still mean they are enslaved. When the United Nations conducts surveys on populations and the availability of jobs and growth, its easier for crooked regimes to pass under the radar by paying as little as possible rather than be out right found out to be little more than slave drivers. Every country at one point or the other had slavery throughout history, whether it was many thousands of slaves or just a couple hundred. *shrugs * True

Theres also a hard limit on the quantity of it available. Unlike gold which could one day be synthetically made or fiat which can be readily printed and whose value soley depends on the government that issues it. Bitcoin seems like a legit investment.

The commodity (nutmeg and all other spices) they harvested from Java and Banda picked up the momentum in the international trading and generated them a lot of money. The spice trading eventually replaced the tulip trading.

@valentinesandvalentines9474
@valentinesandvalentines9474 5 жыл бұрын
As a non-US citizen, the value of the US dollar is the sheer purchasing power of its citizens. USA is really big and populated, most of all free from restricting traditional moral codes which is why there are many consumers that can be lulled into buying and trying services. If course the fact that the US is a powerful nation also supports this fact. US market is a real headache also to handle so that's the hard part of "mining" the dollars there. But luckily there are many gutsy US citizens who would become your business partners. Therefore to be involved with the US has good value, your risk will pay off-- the US dollar is precious. Just like why the Singapore dollar just keeps rising-- even though Singapore is so small we consume a lot of things. We consume mostly from government programs instead of household expenditure like the USA. The government enticed enough people to store their money in Singapore via investments, and they siphon the money effectively from taxpayers by having low taxes from businesses and its citizens. The money is used to buy all the newest technologies to improve public transport, government housing, etc. Job creation enables Singaporeans to consume goods that are more pricey, and our spending power invites more businesses to try their luck here. In Singapore, there are definitely people who will consume your goods no matter how pricey, and the market isn't as whiny as in the USA but the difficulty lies in competing with other businesses in such a small little red dot. That's what makes it worth it to mine dollars in Singapore. Because your risk will pay off, the Singapore dollar is precious. Developing countries have weak currency because people don't see much value in getting into these countries. There are more risks than rewards.

Back than I didn't know if it worth alot, so I just ditch it on my yard (now under my house). The coins have holes in it center, as many coins created from that period.
