As a retired landscaper all I can say is, "Wow". Mowing that with a push mower would have been exhausting and dangerous. It is still amazing (after all these years) just how strong grass can be when it's grown around and through anything.

Poor kids such a huge yard and they couldn't utilize it because of the overgrown grass. As always, I'd drag out a chair and just sit and be amazed at how much nicer the yard is after it was looked after properly. Merry Christmas!

Holy cow, Sean. This has got to be 1 of the most challenging yards I've seen you do. Had the same problem when I bought my house. Had dogs 🐕 had to buy a boat load of dirt to fill the holes. In these people case the need to bring in a bobcat and level out the ground and start fresh. You certainly deserve a medal 🏅 for completing this yard makeover. 👏 BRAVO

I can understand how the owners became very overwhelmed by the amount of work that yard needed to look good again. Chihuahua holes are much easier to manage. I fill them in with grass clippings too, but one catcher full is more than enough! I could feel your frustration through the interwebs. Great job.

Since that madress seems to be stuck all along the backside perhaps it needs to be tucked off like a sticker, peeling up one end and then pulling it along itself, so it doesn’t have to release the entire backside at once but only along the line where it’s currently bent over and being pulled at.
