Congratulations on furthering your education. May 2024 continue to be a success for you. Hug your dad for me. Shawn, another fantastic yard restoration! You must know that your work is THE BEST. I compare other 'lawn care' channels to yours. You are the earmark of excellence! Your care , thoroughness and precision is unmatched. I've stopped watching several channels, here in the US, because these 'blokes' arepainful to watch!! I wish you the best as you switch gears to school to attain other goals. Will look forward to your upcoming lawn restorations!

Watching some of these episodes, I am taken back to my childhood - 50+ years ago - when I see the same type of housing, materials, construction methods etc - so much of it familiar looking from my years growing up in the suburbs of Sydney... as the 10 year old kid mowing the backyard, the front yard, the old lady across the road's yard... it's where I taught myself skills such as mowing lawns well, hedge trimming, edging (although I had to use one of those spiked wheels on a stick instead of power tools) etc I learned that fresh green grass does not burn well in an incinerator, it just smokes out the neighbourhood... I also learned how to fix 2-stroke mowers too, out of necessity... which was a great skill set to go on an learn how to fix motorcycles next, then cars... 10 year old me appreciated quality work when I did it in the 1970's... and I appreciate seeing it now... Well done Sean, the kids will have the best time under that shady tree in the back corner, playing on the concrete and grass, depending on the game at the time...

The clothesline is standard in Australian yards. New ones fold and are removable if you're entertaining. Most people dry clothes on a clothesline. Dryers are expensive to run and not necessary as we generally have great weather for drying clothes year round in our southern states. The Tropics are different. Can't close your wardrobes in The Wet due to the humidity. My daughters in law are time poor so use their clothes dryers much more often.

Sean, you are the first person I've ever watched mowing lawns for free. And now that I've begun to watch a few others as well, I can't help but compare them all to you!!! I know they are doing great jobs for people who can't afford lawn care, but still, you've spoiled me with your striving for perfection and your integrity. Others do not stand up to your standards and I just thought you should know that you are the best lawn sculpture out there (I've watched usa, australia, the uk, and some asian place, maybe thailand). You surpass them all. And great job on those vines along the fence. Amazing the transformation you've made for this homeowner.

I had wondered how a homeowner could let this happen to their property, then I got stage four cancer and the answer is clear to me now, life just happens to good people and living or surviving becomes the priority. The homeowner does care about the property and the neighbors but no longer can keep up the maintenance due to illness and or finances. This gift of a yard makeover means more than you will never know.

There was something about this job that made me want to move to Australia, buy a property with a big back yard and buy a ride on lawn mower so I can spend all day mowing the lawns lol. What an amazing transformation Shaun. I never imagined it would look this great once you were finished. That nightmare Morning Glory obviously floated over our way from there???!! Nightmare stuff for sure and almost impossible to get rid of. Still, it didn't stop you from doing your magic and its lovely to hear the kids are happy. Hey congrats on going back to school!! That is amazing to hear and I am thrilled you are still doing these types of properties. I have watched you since I found you doing the huge job for the elderly man when you just had the basic tools. Man you worked so hard! It was the most impressive, generous thing I had seen someone do and I was so moved that it was for someone who obviously had been there many years and it was simply too dangerous for him to be able to walk in his back yard. Your videos was the first time I really started using You Tube as a way of relaxing and for discovering new idea's, new inspiration and great ways of connecting and supporting people who are doing great things. Of course your passion for mental health also resonated with me. While I haven't been able to contribute financially, I watched your videos, liked and of course subscribed. You are an inspiration. All the best for you and your family for 2024.
