I am so glad you shared that Fatima prayer. I had forgotten that one. A few days ago, it suddenly hit me that the prophecy "the living will envy the dead" is not something we will experience after a great cataclysm; it's something going on right now in the rise in suicidal depression. I came into the Church after struggling with suicidal depression over 15 years back in my teens and 20s. (48 now.) I just recently lost a close friend who struggled over 30 years. This prayer from Fatima is a perfect way to pray for those who are struggling.

❤ I am nearly 70 and I believe I have come to Jesus more than once in my life. I have been on a few retreats that have been my springboard but I haven't always stayed with those feelings. I have finally found my firm faith, I'm doing what I've always wanted and thought I should. God has been so patient with me, thankfully. I fall but I get up again and am even better, praise God! You two are so wonderful I'm so thankful I have found you two and others. Yes Jamelle the Holy Souls are in need of us. Love Fr Michael Gately. I need prayer please pray for my soul, I am very discouraged with the Catholic Faith, I am very convinced and I know the truth but it hurts so much all I see around within the Church, it makes me want to renounce everything but I know I must persevere, like me I'm sure there are others, but it is so hard when the Truth is being manipulated by the ones that should shepherd us. Even as a person who's probably close to 20 years older than you I can relate to most everything you've shared here. Discipline, gratitude, spiritual highs, falling back, wondering how I hadn't been familiar with the Saints earlier, Love and devotion to the Holy Souls in Purgatory, needing devotional practices to stay the course. Yes, oh yes! I'm just grateful that your young family is getting this from you. My journey was different in that even though I thought I was doing pretty good raising my four children, I've come to a place that I realized how much I failed. That's a whole other story. I know the devil would love to have me dwell on the past, but I must not. I'm grateful also that you 2 allow us to walk this journey with you. Many blessings can be reaped from your ministry to us. That's why I choose to help financial by being a monthly patreon. Maybe it helps me to think I'm making a difference not only in your families life but other young parents who choose to follow you. I enjoyed hearing your video today. It's so refreshing to hear from a young Catholic married couple their strong beliefs in our faith. It really touched me when Janelle talked about the souls in purgatory. I also feel they need our help. One thing I'd like to share is when ever I'm driving past a cemetary I say a Prayer for them. If my grandkids are with me, I ask that they do the same and pray for me when I die, so I can get to heaven. It's important that they know and believe in purgatory and prayer. I am praying the catholic morning prayers everyday, since I am on medical leave at the moment for 2 months. I have the opportunity the pray it every morning then I pray the rosary, seven sorrows of Mary and read my online one year bible from the Alpha ministry I attended few yrs ago. Then I watch daily mass online since I am not able to go out due to my post surgery. But starting this Sunday I will attend in person mass, I will start going out to church first, I will do it gradually as I recover from my surgery. Then I will watch your advent series next week 😊 I am praying to God to increase my faith to him and help me encourage my children to at least attend mass every Sunday with me 🙏.. sorry for a very long message..

Thanks for the morning prayer..its a good habit that I have developed. And i am goingbto get back to doing my prayer journal..thanks for sharing that Janelle. My tirning point was also when i did my consecration to Mary. It was the StLoius deMontford consecration. Another gem is St Alphonsus all his writings the most special advent for me was when i did the Advent retreat with you and Janelle. It still impacts me to this day. After listening to your beautiful talk, I wanted to share 2 books suggestions. (I have bought the Glories of Mary after your suggestion) 1) "Fruit of the Womb" by Fr. Boniface Hicks- 33 Days Preparation For Total Consecration to Jesus through Mary(modeling after St. Louis De Monfort). It is so incredibly powerful and I am almost done. 2) Finding Peace in the Storm, Reflections on St. Alphonsus Liguori's Uniformity with God's Will. God bless!

Ken I totally hear you, I find myself feeling so upset with the things that are happening. Even without getting into details, I am so happy you have Janelle for the sweet side. I love it when you both are together on the video. Thank you for sharing your spiritual growth journey. My mother planted the seeds when I was a teen, but I never truly understood any of it, till I was dealing with a lot of financial challenges that brought me to my knees. In that moment, the Lord heard me and brought people into my life to turn my situation around. Since then I've been on my own uphill journey and only wish others around me could see what they're missing out on. I sometimes feel alone in my journey, but then your videos remind me that we're in this together ❤. Glad to hear of your encounters! We all need to remember that our faith should be in Jesus Christ, as opposed to faith in self-righteousness, faith in "The Church," and faith in reception of Sacraments. It's all about Jesus! He is the One who died for us! He took our sins upon His sinless, righteous self and atoned fully for them on the cross, so that (in a divine exchange) all who trust in Him as our Savior will receive His righteousness by the miracle-working gift of God's saving grace. As Jesus promised, "whoever believes in him may have eternal life" (John 3:15), and "Whoever believes in him is not condemned" (v. 18).

Janelle, I want to commit on the souls in purgatory and how you have a commitment praying for them. My daughter and I had to take my son to emergency and my daughter made a deal secretly with the souls if we were to leave the hospital by a certain time she promised them 4 rosaries and sure enough we were discharged not a minute late to the time she asked for. Afterwards she told me she wanted to test them because one of her aunts is very devoted to them. She was so impressed by them She prayed her four rosaries.

Thank you both. Going through a bout of major depression now which hasn’t happened in over 7 years. I like you Janelle have always had a special place in my soul for the holy souls in purgatory. Faith is all I have left. It is truly the only armor against the enemy. Jesus give me guidance please. The devil is attacking me. These past three years have been difficult on me. As a single mom things are hard on me both of my sons are autistic and I’m constantly struggling to provide the basic necessities for them especially now that I’m homeschooling them. People have put me down over my situation but God lifts me up! I suffered an heart attack two years ago and still battling lupus. Give me strength Lord as I constantly struggle to pay bills and constantly struggle to buy groceries for my children. BUT no matter what I face I will KEEP FAITH. Even though the devil wants me to give up. I will not! Jesus is King and I will serve him no matter my struggles.
