I have some videos to catch up on as i don't have as much time to watch these days. Anyway just a note to say thank you so much for sharing your doll collecting i really enjoy watching. I got an American Girl (Isabelle) at a charity shop (thrift store) last year. Shes so pretty and nice quality. They are not very common to find over here.

I always watch you gals because I love the great sister bond you seem to have on KZbin.😊 So glad you mentioned that Evette is a biracial doll, but you personally wanted her hair to look like the icon on her box rather than ignore her biracial or African American heritage and background that promotes her hair texture. So many people ignore that and zone in on her thick, curly hair as if she is not a Black doll who is made to represent a lot of Black girls. A lot of biracial girls grow up to be labeled as Black women or women of color, so this doll was a milestone for a lot of us and our children in the African American community because like Addy in the 90s, Evette was a first for us and a lot of our children who are of mixed race. Your videos are so fun to watch and I love how smart and witty you both are together as sisters. Please bring back you gingerbread house making for holidays those videos were so fun!😊

We actually still do the gingerbread house video every year (it's featured in the last video I posted) :) I can only imagine what a big deal Evette was to people/kids who are biracial, and finally had that representation in a doll. I think the World By Us line was amazing for being so inclusive. I felt sad to see a lot of collectors complaining/bashing Evette's hair texture, because it is suppose to represent real African American/biracial hair (and that must have been hurtful for people to read and feel like their own hair was being criticized). It think her hair is absolutely beautiful, you just have to learn to properly care for it.
