Oh you totally need to get the audiobook of wingfeather saga. It’s amazing!!! The author reads it and does voices for all the characters. It’s a hard read aloud because of the words

We listened to Wingfeather on audio book. I always recommend it but I tell people to listen to it before they read it. The author is also the narrator and he is amazing!! Hands down our family favorite series.

We also listened to The Wingfeather Saga. There's no way I could have read it aloud myself lol It also took a little while to get into it but once we did we loved it.

There are points where it really immerses her, but no she doesn’t always pay attention to our chapter book read alouds.
