I tried to email Yale about this, but you all were like we only take information from known researchers. This is a form of Latin. More specifically, the creator added his or her own flair. I also told you that the missing pages are pages that explain religion. This is like a tool for others to learn about different subjects. But no, in order to keep people interested, you won't tell them the truth.

some of these illustrations are simply bizarre. The contraptions that these women use to funnel water.. very imaginative. Or the rainbow being held up at each end on flowers?
@wanderlustandsparkle4395 Жыл бұрын
You do realize those rainbows are the flowers, and they are attached to plants right.

It's in the form of Latin, but Yale doesn't want you to know that. Since this is under Yales guardianship, it keeps Yale in front of everyone's mind, meaning more money from college students interested in attending Yale.

I don't think Yale really wants to know what's really in this MS. Yale earns way too much money in upkeeping the mist around it's true origins than in finding out the truth. And if the truth comes close to resolving this 'mystery', it's 'political reasons' that prevent the truth from being known. For anyone not familiar with this MS, it's probably a writing from either Vedic descent (India/Pakistan/Afghanistan) or Zoroastrian descent (Iran) and at the start of the Renaissance period in Northern Italy copied onto European vellum parchment. The date of writing it onto vellum parchment coincides with the the first sightings of gypsies into Western Europe including Northern Italy. As of such there seems to be a link with the ancient Silk Route and the Renaissance citystate that controlled the western end of the Silk Route (and the Levant) at that time was the Venitian Empire. Therefore the source of the MS is likely to be found in an area in Northern Italy controlled by the Venitian Empire at that time. Such source may be Bologna which holds one of the oldest universities in the world with the oldest surviving botanical garden. Likely the author/writer visited such place for his/her illustrations of the medicinal plants. From Bologna it is known that it was visited by a group of gypsies led by a certain guy who called himself 'Duke Andrea of Little-Egypt' in the year 1424. The writer/author of this MS is likely this 'Duke' Andrea (a title which a 'gypsy king' gave to himself') or someone highranked, but yet ranked below this guy. The MS likely contains Vedic astrology (Jyotisha), Vedic medicine (Ayurveda) and 're-purification' rituals when 'malandro' or 'impure'. Gypsies still uphold such rituals to this very day because for instance they never take a bath into a pond or pool with stagnant water. This because they believe that this causes 'impurity' upon them. For anyone not familiar with the origins of the gypsies, these people call themselves 'Sinti & Roma-people' and originally they derive from Indus Valley region (on the border of India & Pakistan) and they are descendants from ancient nomadic Silk Route merchants from the lowest 'cast'. Education amongst these people is poor and done in a tradition which is passed on from father-to-son. Therefore the alphabet used in the Voynich MS may be a self-invented alphabet and this 'clouds' the actual language used in the Voinich MS in a mist of obscurity. Hence all kinds of theories emerged of it being a 'hoaxwriting', a 'coded' writing, a 'heretic' writing, etc, etc...

A rich collector several centuries ago was paying $$$ for any mystic texts. So a few artist friends made up a counterfeit went overboard, extra details with made-up images and symbols… That’s it.

Five years of innovative research by Alisa Gladyseva.The reader is invited to experience the joy appreciating of decoding the WHOLE Voynich manuscript which has eluded understanding for more than 600 years! It is a well- documented text - dissertation of 700 pages for degree gaining with extensive endnotes of step-by-step deciphering and morphological proving... that it was written in Castellano and its dialect, using the Latin, old-French, and old Catalan names of flowers. It provides qualitative analyze of the WHOLE text. Research years: 2015-2019. The book has a three main parts: 1. Decoding flowers names. Plants' names are a key for an Alphabet characters' definition. 2. Reading the WHOLE Voynich manuscript 3. Deciphering the double coded Alchemy text of the Voynich Manuscript.www.researchgate.net/profile/Alisa_Gladyseva

If we can figure out Ancient Egyptian, Sumeric, Aramaic, and OTHER ancient languages that have NO references at all. Then we should be able to figure this one out as well. -_-
