Melinda Haas is completely clueless. "Potentially indiscriminate?" It's obvious the explosives were just large enough to cause a lot of damage within a 1-2 feet and not much further. You can derive this info from footage and what we already know about the types of people in the hospital and their injuries. I mean, you can complain about the children who were allowed to play with dad's military pager, but that's more of a parenting problem.

Or else just as they give passengers a clear bag to put their toiletries in, they’ll also get (or, more likely, be asked to pay an exorbitant fee for) - faraday box for their phones and tablets. If it’s walled off and can’t receive a signal then hopefully it cant blow up. So in addition to the current xray scanning hopefully all the bases will be covered. Until someone thinks of something new of course 🫠
