This encourages my soul as a 71 yr old woman saved by Jesus in 1974..the Shepherds will be judged harshly for their Apostasy and not providing sound teaching to their congregants. I pray that Jack Hibbs continues preaching the whole Gospel and not afraid of it.. I will be praying that we all as a church , for the church is not a building but people who are in Christ, will follow and obey the Lord because the One world Church is not of God but the prince of this world.. In Chicago I have not found a Pastor who preaches according to the Word of our God , but soft , come as you are and stay as you are , false teachers. I too believe that the Lord’s sifting the church and we are being called to choose the world’s way’s or the Saviors ways but never both.. I Have prayed since 1986 For a church to attend with my husband and four children, not to be found but now I am encouraged that maybe, just maybe, the real church is awake and ready to preach the truth, the meat of the Word and not milk. People need the Lord and that is our job. It would have been easier if we could send our loved ones to a bible believing, loving , but teaching God’s commands as we must stay in the Lord not just say a prayer and live any way we want. I lost my husband in October, 20. I was saved in the Lord in “74” he in “81”and died at the age of 74 after 50 years of Marriage. The Lord our God did so much to heal our relationship as he showed us our sin and gave us a pure love for each other. In his final,days we kept telling Jesus thank you for keeping us to himself and helping us raise children that love God and whether we have a church or not we serve the Lord as the Holy Spirit helps us. We can do nothing without the Precious Holy Spirit. His power to preach the truth is needed more and more as the day comes nearer to the rapture. My prayer is more and more Pastors are called to,preach and not looking for numbers with no real preaching changing lives as the Spirit of God moves on the lost to get right with the Lord our God. Thank you Pastor Hibbs for answering the call because many CC churches here have gone away from the Bible. Very Sad indeed!
