I think one of the words you could be looking for regarding Spurs is "aggression". A prime example of this is in the game against Leicester, it was effectively Vardy's aggression - in the dressing room at half time (allegedly), when he scored his goal but also throughout, that lifted them team and their mentality in the second half was completely different. You could even see it when he was subbed off and with how he spoke to the subs coming on and instilled that aggression and desire them. You can see this in Spurs squad with players like Romero, and I think if he and other players with that similar mentality are able to step up and be more vocal and lift the team to that do-or-die level, that's one thing I think could give us the edge we need.

Liverpool’s right hand side is gonna go crazy this season, finally got a Hendo replacement in Szobo but more technically gifted.
@mbuyiselijama73832 ай бұрын
Hendo does more than what you see off the ball. Organization, Communication, Leadership and High work rate... It would make sense if you say you found someone who's gifted for that place. Don't say he's a replacement, there's still too much shoes to fill for him to reach Henderson's level.
@B_razzer2 ай бұрын
@@mbuyiselijama7383 in terms of his job in the team Szobo does that, that’s what I’m talking about. He facilitates Trent, like how Hendo used to.
@mbuyiselijama73832 ай бұрын
@B_razzer let's not forget the type of opponent he was playing against. It's not yet a challenge until we watch him play with teams who are obsessed with Possession and have Wingers who are pacey and skillfull. That's when we will see if he will have that Tank and produce he's defensive side... At the moment it's still too early but I will praise he's perfomance last game 👏
@nonnayoubuzinnes16692 ай бұрын
@@mbuyiselijama7383We have had loads of players who did what Hendo did but who were also more gifted technically. The only thing he did that was missed was covering for Trent when he goes missing at RB.
@essghee1492 ай бұрын
Dom is a better player than Hendo. If he works as hard he will easily surpass him. Hendo was captain of a great team. Not a great captain. Made himself a figurehead for clout but dumped it for money as well. He wasn’t a tenth the captain that Gerrard was.

Jim the formation for the Chelsea section is nonsense, you’ve just listed 3 low 8s, 2 10s, and 2 wingers. Even if Chelsea were to play some terrible 3-3-4, that’s not the most efficient way to do it imo. The problem is, a lot of 50M+ players are gonna have to be dropped and apparently Maresca doesn’t adapt his formation for anything so certain players who don’t fit that will just have to go to the bench

We can't blame chelsea, when the Ref is always against them... Enzo in advance position is great bcz he has that killer pass instead of holding the ball and delay the play by dribbling. If you want him to play deeper, he will be a weakest link off the ball, Hence they chose Caicedo and Lavia for balance in that midfield bcz both of them are good at Winning the ball, while Lavia is also great at Deep-Playmaker Role. Palmer is perfect at Right wing if he will invert and allow Gusto to overlap.... Problem is having Numbers inside the Box, Thats where we need to focus on. Palmer is always too wide, Nkunku is making late runs inside the box, leaving Jackson alone...
