Wow, going three months with a small hand bag. I think most importantly don't overdue clothes, they are cheap to buy if you need to. Laundry is cheap and they do it for you. Do bring adapters, bug spray, suntan lotion, Imodium, basic toiletries. You can buy anything else really but you don't need much.

Wow, you guys pack a ton of stuff. I use merino and other methods and end up with a fraction of this with more luxuries. I would change up the microfiber towels for linen. Etsy has some of the best for cheap. The ones on Amazon are too thick. Thank you for your Thailand blog video

Great video. I wounder do you use local " clothing wash services" or do you buy new clothes Evert 6days ? And If you are going to storage your flying bags some places how much do they cost ? Lets say do storage cost More than new flying bag on long run ?

Finnland hey! We did use local wash services or I bought woolite and washed my clothes in the sink/ bathtub a few times. We stored our bags for almost a full month in Bangkok while we traveled around so we didn’t have to drag them with us. It was around $300 for both of us for the full month. I think it would have been just as expensive in airline fees to bring them on the flights. But that would have also been a big pain.

Im doing a month in Thailand, and looking at others packing lists. Always seems like people are bringing so much in clothing. Do you feel like you brought to much? Would you consider using the laundry services there?

I saw in the other video that Caryn almost got in trouble with her bag with AirAsia - was that to bring it as a carry-on? I'm wondering if I can bring my 55L backpack as carry on.. so long as it's sub 7kg!

I can’t imagine carrying all that around

Ryan Smith I think it is all very situational but it felt super easy for us. I think if we had to hike and backpack with it it would be wayyy too much!

Lift Vegan yes Absolutley! We even checked out an expo on them in Taiwan but I haven’t seen one I’m interested in yet. I’m waiting for the states. I’ve only ever used cardboard applicators so I’m not too worried about that but there are tons of good reasons in general to use one! Thanks for raising this idea!
