I enjoyed the bullet points you discussed. Planning to retire to Philippines in maybe 6 years. I like that Baguio is a cool place. Lahat ng binanggit mo re karaoke ordinance, cleanliness, nature, slow living ay swak talaga sa personality and desires ko. Hindi rin kami mahilig ng asawa ko maglagalag; we prefer to stay at home. If my current company will allow me to work there, baka mas maaga pa kami mag-settle dyan. Nice to know about mold; will be ready with dehumidifier. Sanay kami sa "gloomy" weather dito sa Maine. Thanks for sharing! Mga magkano ang monthly budget dapat if renting? Will P75,000/mo suffice?

Me and my wife are planning to retire in the Phil in about 2 to 3 yrs from now. I think one of my choices now is Baguio city because of the cold weather that’s no. one reason. See you there….

Suggest ko momshiee buy na you Air/hepa filter to filter and circulate yung air to remove yung humid sa loob ng house para ma lessen yung mold . :)

prio talaga mga manganganak sa BGH pero pag pumunta ka sa BGH tapos magpapacheck up ka dahil masakit ulo mo or high blood ka... hindi ka prio... kahit napilay ka at hirap kang maglakad... maghihintay ka ng 3-5 hours para lang ma check up ka ng doctor... sa if it's not life threatening, punta ka sa private clinics na lang kaysa sa BGH kasi hindi ka talaga nila aalagan... pero pag life threatening eh talagang tutok na tutok ka...

parks pa nga lang talo na ang tagaytay eh. sobrang daming parks dito sa Baguio na you can just chill and relax all day. another one is cleanliness. Baguio is a very clean city not only in business districts but throughout Baguio. kahit punta ka sa nga sulok na brgy dito, malinis tlga kasi may mga street sweepers dito na binabayaran ng city hall unlike tagaytay na medyo marumi. in some parts ay malinis pero the whole city nope.

Omg, Hindi po kailangan ng aircon sa Baguio,,ako nga matanda na panay pa rin akong naka sweater,,😆 May bahay kami doon,,pero ipina pa transients ng anak ko,,,,sa mga ka kilala lang niya,,we’ve been living there since 1968-1994,,in Baguio City,,renting until we have a house,,,( yr 1978) then we let our daughter stay there ng naki pag asawa na,,( who at that time living in Manila,renting,,) we fixed our house,,and she’d been staying there 2000 up to now,,,,, Maganda yong place namin coz medyo malayo sa street,,malayo sa usok ng tambutso,,kasi ang kumare ko na may bahay doon close to the streets,,pag gising daw nila,,,,ang iitim daw ang mga kulangot nila?😅

Isa sa problema ng Baguio ay tubig. Kailangang mag imbak ka ng tubig dahil di laging may tubig sa mga tubo.

Yes, lalo na sa amin, kasi ang tubig namin noon free, galing sa John Hay,pero ng ang govt na ang namamahala, isinasara na po nila,,May bayad na,,,kasi maraming tourists sa loob ng base,,nagpa tayo sila ng mga hotels etc,,,maraming gagamit,,

payo ko rin sa mga gustong tumira sa baguio... tumira kau sa lugar na walang asal probinsya or kalye... kasi may mga lugar sa Baguio na asal skwaters or galing probinsya... ingat rin kau sa mga igorot na asal probinsya kasi sakit sa ulo mga yan... nagdudura kahit saan... mag susunog sa umaga or gabi... from experience ko po shineshare ito... may mga lugar din na may igorot pero parang hindi sila laking probinsya... kung baga igorot na lumaki sa syodad at may etiquette.
