Enjoyed seeing this! Geography is my favorite subject to teach and study, and I am rethinking the books I got this year. I sort of like them - but there have been things I have questioned. So cool that this set comes with books to read to go along with learning about different states!!

All of your BFB videos have made me completely reconsider using it when we start homeschooling! I don’t really know why I had decided not to but all of your videos have been so helpful in me seeing it could be an amazing fit for us! Please do a lesson with us video for this too!

I’m so excited to use this curriculum for the first time and specifically this course! I’m slowly collecting the picture books it uses, used, to cut back on the cost. I will be using it with a 1st grader and 2 4th graders. I would rather it be simplistic and add to it for my older ones then be over their heads.

My daughters ages are 12,11, & 8. Do you think it would be great for their ages? One reason I ask because we haven't done any history/ Geography at all in our homeschool. I am ready to start. The only geography that we have had is the little that is included in TG&TB curriculum.

Do you use multiple of their courses at the same time or just one at a time?

@@HomegrownHomeschool I love to hear that! Because I’m wanting to do their geography, character study and nature study all at the same time. And figured it’s doable since it’s not an every day of the week curriculum. But I wasn’t sure if I was being ambitious or not

@@gabswithabsxo I am in the same boat wondering if its possible to handle more than one... interested in the character study, a history and one of the geographies but don't want it to be overkill, one thing I love about BF is the flexibility to sit and savor. So many other literature-based CM curriculums are an intense 4-5 days a week schedule but I realize that's also usually Bible/geography/history/literature lumped together. I so much appreciate putting it together my own way and customizing the schedule.

Is the state activity book completely necessary for the curriculum? Do you think it can be done without it ?

Are you talking about the 50 states book? If so, I think it can be done without. You could even try getting it at the library or thrift books if you think you might want it

I’m wondering if this particular curriculum from beautiful feet books is secular. I know that many of their products contain religious themes which does not work for us. I want so much to use their materials but I’m finding it difficult to figure out how much I would either not be able to use or would have to edit. Thank you!

It’s not secular. Beautiful Feet Books is a Christian company and while they don’t have Bible scriptures in every lesson they are found throughout the curriculum. It could be removed if it doesn’t suit your needs but this one also does talk about biblical creation.
