When u jig do you cast then flip the bail back after it hits the water or u still dumping line till u hit bottom, idk I see people do both and catch fish. I’m just trying to not get my lure stuck Alr have lost 3 to rocks lol

Just depends on the area and how the current is. It’s a double edged sword, you can be out of the strike zone if you don’t let out enough, and you can get hung up if you let out too much.

Best bet is to be east on an east tide, west of the canal on a west tide in the am. Spots always change
