So we're an average team. Is that so shameful? I remember years and years of being far worse. We lose a final in the last minute when some long stringy streak of pelican shit jags a goal thanks to our poor defence on the back of a poor umpiring decision.....in other words A LOT HAD TO GO RIGHT FOR BRISBANE TO WIN A FINAL ON HOME SOIL AGAINST THE 8TH TEAM ON THE LADDER WHO WEREN'T EVEN CERTAIN TO MAKE FINALS A MTH AGO WHILE BRISBANE THEMSELVES WERE TOP FOUR NEARLY ALL YEAR AND BLEW A DOUBLE CHANCE. So I guess the question is "Where did it all go wrong for Brisbane?"

Wow , reading the comments section and am a bit ashamed about the team I go for supporter base being so feral.... I understand it was frustrating to lose after leading so much of the game, but turning on the players and coach like some have in the comments is even more frustrating for me.... 3 flags in 5 years yet this comment section is the payback? chill the fuck out

Yep i agree mate, Like they say though mate, Tigers eat their own, so many are soo fast to turn on the team and coaches. I love this team and what they have done has been amazing to see, so much better than the early 90's era that i grew up watching

Neal is best on ground every time we play Brisbane. Because hardwick refuses to put a hard tag on him. Kane is right Melbourne etc put a tag on him and half his disposals and they lose so get with it Richmond. We also need to be so much better in the clearances.

Pretty well sums it up. Boulton was shit, Baker was shit, Gibcus was shit, Martin did nothing and there's no point in Nank winning the hitouts if he taps it to the opposition. From the start, it felt like the Tigers weren't gonna win it, and against the Lions; who aren't exactly stellar at the moment, means it didn't matter either way...coz even if they'd won...they'd just lose next round; which is what I think will happen to Brisbane. The Pies, Swans or Cats look the goods at the moment....coming from a Tiger supporter.

Bolton unsighted in 2nd half he is not the best player in the competition , Gibcus will be a super player but he looked like a deer in the headlights, Martin was serviceable and don’t forget who Hardwicks go to player lately was Castagna ..NO THANKS…Baker 50m penalty 😡😡😡 then kicks it out on the full with 2 min go..If we don’t make it next year we need a fresh start at the coaching level Big Positives Cotchin, Riewoldt both deserve contracts they were in our best..Sonsie, Miller , Maurice Jnr Gibcus and Ross all showed massive promise

I know Richmond made mistakes but in the end we were robed by a review from cameras 100 metres not on the right angle to really see if the ball really did go over the post. They have to be 100 percent to change the call. There is no way you could be totally shore that missed. Robbery. That reviewer called that quicker than the most obvious of misses . Ill never accept it any other way unless they can show a totally creditable photo. Genuine robbery.

I disagree …we didn’t take control of our destiny..what about bakers stupid 50m penalty, gIbcus panicking and holding and then slipping cost us 2 goals…Shai Bolton unsighted in 2nd half 3 touches , Nank didn’t do enough with his ruck supremacy ..Hardwick needs to think about tagging …our game style needs to be re tweeked

Mistake after mistake from Richmond and they never address it. Year after year there fumbling not being goal side in defence bad kicking missing goals from 6/10 metres out + falling over and over they will not keep their feet the list goes on and on they end up being where they are because that is where they should be, because they are just not good enough.

Richmond were extremely unlucky..If they won they would thrash Melbourne easily!!! They would win the grand Final! 2022. Geelong and Collingwood could only kick 10 goals. Richmond are 12 goals at first half, not 4 goals in 2 quarters..Richmond is a power house Goal kicking machine who would stop Richmond at the MCG..playing at there best with a full list absolutely!!! No team!!!!! Richmond premiers 2023! Go Tigers!!! Umpires make a team lose matches especially when there huge errors that should not be allowed.

Richmond were robbed, Brisbane are lazy and they rely on one of the most overrated players ever in Daniher. The fact that he's wearing number 3 makes me feel sick. I can't watch footy anymore but from the footage I saw they won't win a GF with that list. Lachie will retire early due to bad shoulders because he's carried that side for years. These kids (not just Brisbane) have people pissing in their pockets probably because if they get any constructive criticism they'll start crying because these kids are wrapped up in cotton wool and if a coach/teammate tells them the truth they get all sensitive and take it as a personal attack. Weak as piss, but that's the GAYFL now.

Just because someone has declined in performance does mean he thinks he is better than what he is. It's simple he got thrown into center all year and struggled on field personally, its the same as saying Richmond was aggrogant for playing Martin lol sometimes things just don't work out.
