@@confucius6341 There is a difference between pride and arrogance. Pride is taking satisfaction in knowing you did good work and contributed positively in something. Arrogance is exaggerated sense of one's own importance or abilities. Black students have been exposed to this arrogance from a white historical perspective since they entered school. White folks contributions are HIGHLY exaggerated. They have stole and appropriated pretty much everything, and taking credit for other peoples work.

Yes...Fulfill prophecy for what the Egyptians(West Africans) did to the Israelites? Very possible. Isaiah spoke about it, and where do you think the Egyptians fled to when Babylon destroyed Egypt? West maybe? I don't have all the answers but I don't blame a whole race for the misdeeds of a few as some tend to do. Sbusiso Mhlongo good question. It’s like this: Even today in very rich countries we have amazing high tech glass structures etc as well as basic wood houses where say some people outside the city live. So it was the same during that time in Africa. The only difference was that we were not allowed to progress our incredible civilisations because our riches, knowledge etc were stolen by the west to develop their own civilisations. And moreover because they knew of our potential every effort was made to prevent us from developing. This took the form of destroying libraries, fabricating history, creating divisions, imposing their fake religion on us etc. The same is true for today!
@thomassenbart
@thomassenbart 4 жыл бұрын
@Alessandropopopo popo No, there is no changing of history by Americans. Sub Saharan history is little taught in the West for several reasons. One is that before the Muslim invasions, most of the peoples were illiterate and largely consisted of stone age folk, except in East Africa, which had contacts with the Europeans, Persians, Arabian peninsula etc...Another reason for the dearth of teaching African history, is that there simply is not that much to tell. For example the queen mentioned above, is only known about because the Romans wrote about her. Africa is very interesting but without writing, you can only do so much.

What schools? I keep seeing this thought pop up all over the place. But no one is specifying which schools. Schools in America? Why? Schools in America are tasked with teaching the history of the Republic of the United States. So anything not relevant to that would be a waste. Why would our schools teach this, or teach about the Warring states period in China, or the Rus Princedoms. Interesting though it may be it is not our history per se. Maybe this should be taught in African schools? Okay which schools? Schools in SA? Why? That is not region specific. The history of Kush is no more relevant to the history of SA or Nigeria then the history of Piedmont-Sardinia is to the history of Sweden. Africa is not a monolith, there are vast array of wonderful and unique cultures there and no one wide brush can over them all. The blurted out virtue signal of "We should teach this in school!" Comes off as shallow and lacking fore-thought and true appreciation and understanding of not just African history but history in general. You are doing a disservice.

This explains the dozens of pyramids in Sudan which are more than the ones of giza which no one talks about. Now we know better. The great Zimbabwe is also another interesting Kingdom that no one talks about.
