Yup, and he probably had french classes as well. He followed a course called gymnasium at high school and french is also part of the curriculum. I can tell you from experience, keeping up with 6 languages was no fun.

@@al145 It depends a lot on the individual person though. In the dutch education system, there are different courses based on intelligence that you can follow in secondary education. So the pre-university courses have more languages, but during the final years you end up only choosing a couple.

@@fsdafas749 so here in the USA, we generally had two languages that we had to choose to struggle through, French or Spanish, and there's no actual issues if you "failed" either. I don't think anyone was ever in danger of not graduating because of failing "foreign language"

It's exactly why his 100th win is the most anticipated part of the GTA races at this point. Too bad Zylus & Duncan are some of the best Yogs at racing, and Lewis can be a bit of a bully on the track (knocking into other racers as he passes, even at the cost of his own place sometimes). The rest is just Ben clumsiness, like his wall bump @5:35 while trying to pass Harry, that lost him the lead for the rest of the race. He'll get it, eventually.

There's also things like medical professionals that, as a gay guy, I'd prefer having another gay guy. Mostly because it'd be easier for them to understand certain issues and such. Some other things could be working at a gay club, gay sex shop, etc. It's not *necessary* but it'd definitely help. There are plenty of examples really. They're jobs though where it'd be obvious that's wanted/needed. That's why I was asking what job it was. Obviously if you're applying to be like a retail employee at the dollar store it shouldn't be questioned.

@@Eventide215 I didn't know "LGBT therapist" was a job. As for the rest, most jobs don't really make those prerequisites as they are ultimately preferences. And the thing about preferences is that they aren't important to jobs and other people will have other preferences. The other thing is that jobs can't legally ask about that (at least in America, so I'm assuming countries with actual freedoms would do the same) as it can be seen as grounds for discrimination, even if it WERE for the interest in helping customers better.

Latin holds a nigh exclusive dominion over the scientific nomenclature of species. It's also the root of several European languages allowing some insight to the meanings of words even when you don't actually know the language. Also, if you were to teach Ancient Greek the way Ancient Greek teachers may have taught it, you'd dar more likely be put in a headlock and/or pinned than beaten/whipped. Plato took his name from his time as a wrestler prior to teaching philosophy. It's not his actual name, it's literally just a nickname that means "broad" (hypothesized to describe his physique, breadth of skill, or the size of his forehead)).

Medicine is something like half Latin, half ancient Greek. Body parts and many conditions are named using primarily Greek terminology, while many pharmaceuticals and their dosing use Latin words. And a lot of it is Greek by way of Latin, not to mention words and phrases that use both Latin and ancient Greek suffixes and prefixes. It's all a mess. Take "cancer," for example: it was a Greek term spelled with "K"s, which the Romans translated into their texts using "C"s. So then when we translated it, we pronounced it with one "K" sound and one "S" sound!

I wasn't bullied but started getting really bad social anxiety in like middle school. So I gravitated towards trying to sit near the door whenever possible so I could just slip out quickly. Or I'd be in the back to be one of the last out. The worst part was I was fairly forgetful in grade school because of the anxiety and I'd tend to forget my books like under my seat or go to the wrong class at the wrong times.. and the anxiety basically made me bully myself.

The winning entry of the contest was just a vectorized version of the sample. I feel like GTA races recently are toeing a line to where I would nearly believe that they're just dubs of the Yogs having casual conversation put over generic footage.
