I didn't know this game wouldn't have a local versus mode. I know most people just play online nowadays, but as someone who has most of his fun with (casual) fighting games with playing against my brother or friends over at my place that's kind of a big deal to me. I was already undecided whether I was gonna pick this game up, because as cool as I think it is that every character gets their own gimmick that reflects their actual abilities from the manga/anime, I'm not a fan of the floaty, stiff movements that also plagued MHA One's Justice. I was thinking I'd overlook that because I just love JJK that much, but if I can't even play local versus then I'm probably gonna have to give up on this one after all.

i think mahito's gimmick is something along the lines of stored damage. like doing damage increases the amount of stored damage they have which is inflicted when you land idol transfiguration as some kind of move.

I think each normal atack increases the skill damage of mahito idle transfiguration, which means that if you land enough hits on a enemy without using the skill you may oneshot him just like it is a one shot in the anime. I think this is the most plausible that idle transfiguration can be

I'm a little bit surprised that Eso doesn't have some visual gimmick of always facing the camera, since he doesn't like people looking at his back. It obviously would've been extra work and would mean all players see the character slightly differently, but it would've been a super cool detail. Maybe they tested it and it just wasn't working out.

If mahito uses domain expansion, does he trap both of his opponents in his domain expansion, or only one of them, or both options? Cause i think it would be pretty cool for him to use domain expansion on one opponent if the other is too far, and then if the other opponent comes, he can break mahito's domain expansion. With 14 characters, and them announcing them 3 by 3, I think we'll have 17 in the base game. I honestly think the last 3 will be Yuta(he gotta be, the movie is in the base game), a fingerbearer(in the game trailer, we see one against Sukuna. It could very well be the story one, but the fact we see him take the domain, with a full animation makes me think it's a playable, plus, we have enough for a moveset for them) and another Kyoto student(I'd say probably Mechamaru or Mai, Miwa and the witch doesn't have a lot of moves possible, and Kamo would be overlooked by Choso if we get a Shibuya DLC). I don't include Geto in the base game, as we know the Gojo past arc is a DLC, and we'll most likely get Toji there, however only 1 character is a bit weak for a DLC, so I think Geto will arrive there too.

They can make Teen Geto and Teen Gojo into new playable characters alongside Toji as the Dlc. Adult Geto is 100% coming to the Base Game they can't include JJK 0 in the main story without the main villain that would make no sense at all... Kamo wouldn't get overlooked just because Choso comes in the game that makes no sense... Kamo isn't 100% like Choso the only thing they have in common is blood manipulation and Kamo's fighting style isn't even similar to Choso's. What Kamo showed during Season 1 is enough to make him completely different than Choso for this game 💀 Yuta Geto Miguel Finger Bearer Mechamaru and Kamo would be a perfectly fine starting roster of 20 character's imo.

Tbh I have a feeling Nanami will be very high tier. Byking has a tendency of making gimmick characters really strong even without using their gimmicks. Some good examples are V1 Shigaraki, who has an insta kill mechanic, but his damage is naturally really good and Kirishima, who has his super armor, but even without it he's a solid brawler with good hitboxes and priority.
