I think we talked about the Day-Date recently - I *love* the move of the angular, deconstructed Roman numerals to the 36mm.The ombre on the 40 is great as well, and maybe one day that can make the move over too which would be even better - and 100% my "if oil was discovered in my back garden" purchase 😁

The new roller 1908 with the light blue face i would say has a sun flower seed pattern which comes from a natural or sacred geometry expression called the flower of life. Hope that helps you out with any future descriptions of that lovely looking watch Rob. 🌻⌚😉

Couldn’t agree more about those Daytonas! And the 1908 is stunning!

The eyes were the first thing I said to myself on the IWC 😂 Thought the Cartier looked interesting

The 'googly eyes' on the IWC bother you, but the pervy faced moonphase on the Raymond Weil doesn't? Personal preference is a hell of a thing eh? 😅

When you mentioned spirograph, I thought of theses high paid design engineers playing with a spirograph to design their newest watch. I agree with you on everything you showed today. Grand Seiko is a big disappointment this year. TAG, Cartier, and to some degree Tudor have some nice new offerings. Cheers.

It was just so lackluster .... I can't think of a single watch reveal that made me want to buy something

Austin is literally the worst place I’ve ever been. I don’t get the tsa or the cops there want you to take a gold watch off to go through security

I've never flown through Austin, so it's not something I've dealt with. Otherwise Austin is a fun city, as I've spent a lot of time there.
