The biggest red flag is the "deficiencies" and incompetence of the government agency "regulating" this industry who is supposed to take action. Their inadequacy in doing so, pandemic or not, is what brought upon this banks' downfall. All parties should be held accountable

I hate the gaslighting of even asking these obvious questions to why someone who knows economics and banking would purposefully ignore the clear warnings for years about investments in government backed securities- it’s not bc he didn’t hear them it’s not bc he didn’t know what would happen he did so stop gaslighting and asking! He knew it would happen and that’s why when the going was good and they bought up as many government backed securities as they could that they could donate THE SECOND largest massive amounts of money to the democrat candidates and bankroll their candidacies and elections to victory and then get rewarded handsomely in the quick fall out when the fed rate kept climbing and ppl were pulling their money out.
