Betting markets have to adjust their odds based on the volume of bets though. They're not just based on the raw odds. As an example, imagine it was a 50:50 race but 90% of punters were putting money on Trump. If they set the odds as even, the betting company stands to lose a ton of money if Trump wins. And because there are not many Kamala betters, they won't make as much money off lost bets. Because of this, the betting company will adjust the odds to entice betters towards Kamala. The more even the distribution of bets, the more the company mitigates financial risk and guarantees themself profit. Not saying that is for sure what is happening in the case of Sportsbet, just pointing out that odds aren't set to reflect the genuine probability. The odds are set to ensure Sportsbet makes a profit.
