i have a 2024 TRD SPORT and i just bought 285/55/r20 with a 00 offset should fit perfect and look great

It'll fit perfect if you like massive wheel poke.

Gonna have a lot of paint chip tbh I'd wrap the sides of the truck

@@DTheFatMan Your thin Toyota paint will suffer from a 00 tire poke.

You should mention the width of the wheels in the video. A 7” wide wheel with 0 offset will be different compared to 0 offset on a 9” wide wheel in relation to how far the wheels stick out past the fender.
@alexs8258 ай бұрын
Or just mention backspacing and ignore offset/width

I was running -12 offset on my 3rd gen

What off set would meet in the middle of 0 offset and +38 offset ?

Would a 275/70r18 look about the same as the second one? Wondering about those stock black accessory trd wheels

Yeah should be pretty close

I spent HOURS researching aftermarket wheels and tires for my new 2024 Toyota Tacoma Off-Road I finally decided on a set of black Method NV305 17” x 8.5” wheels with a +25 offset. For tires I chose the brand new Nitto Terra Grappler G3 in a 275/70/17 size. The combo looks PERFECT on the truck. All of my research paid off in the end.

When will you have front and rear (swing out) bumpers for the 24 Taco?
@CBIOFFROADFAB8 ай бұрын
Currently working on it, hopefully will have it done in the next few months

The 33” looked great . To me tires sticking outside the fender well look stupid .

Im looking to get 18x9 with a 18 offset with a 34 inch tire do you know how much poke there would be
@CBIOFFROADFABАй бұрын
We got poke when we put a 0 offset wheel on. I think it comes with +56 offset from the factory.

I’m still learning my truck stuff. Just bought a 2024 Tacoma 6ft bed. The look I wanted was 275/70/17. I found secondhand 275/70/18. Will the wheels look too big ?
@scotto8275 ай бұрын
Wonder if there is really any meaningful crawling performance with the slightly wider stance or if its just too minimal to really make a difference. The rocks and trees dont care what ur truck looks like.

Thanks for the info, great work! Just got a Sport in same colour. Putting 275/70R18 on it. No lift so hopefully good. What color you like on it? Torn between silver, black or polished gunmetal. Silver looks good or I could do what you do and run different on both sides! 🤨

Have you guys figured out how to powdercoat yet? Or does everything rust out within days/weeks still?

35" tires with a slight lift.

I'm hoping someone could answer this question for me given that I am new when it comes down to buying aftermarket wheels, but can anyone tell me if a 17x9 - 6.50 bolt pattern - with a -12 offset would fit the 2024 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport? Based on my research I am getting mixed reviews.

Anyone got the MPG comparison for 35 and 33?
@CBIOFFROADFAB3 ай бұрын
We would imagine that it is around 1-2 MPG's. We didn't run the 33" tires long enough to be definitive but based on what we saw that would be a solid response.

35's no one is talking about re gearing is it not necessary? Who can recalibrate the speedometer
@CBIOFFROADFAB3 ай бұрын
It doesn't feel necessary at this point to re-gear. I'm sure the right scenario would warrant a re-gear however. The speedo recalibration can happen with tuners as those start coming out. For now we live with the inaccuracy of the speedo.

The main issue i have is that +38 offset look is what i would want but it makes you have a flat wheel with no concave to it. I don't like that look. Guess ill be keeping my 3rd gen.
@jetter8206 ай бұрын
" a flat wheel with no concave to it" ? Huh?
@sonny15976 ай бұрын
Is everybody doing this for looks? First thing for me when going to a larger tire is to match the gearing. Going to a 35" tire without regearing you loose in acceleration and mileage, but your truck will look cool.
@billw84766 ай бұрын
2024 tacoma has transmission overheating issues, resulting in trans failure, with stock tire size..... bigger tires will make this condition worse, on both the trans, and the turbo.
@Shabobidhuffy4 ай бұрын
What ? some people go bigger tires like 35s so they can actually off-road and not bullshit. 35s minimum for any serious off roading
@sonny15974 ай бұрын
@@Shabobidhuffy Really! Just did the white RimTrail out of Moab on 265/75 16’s which is basically stock other than E rated .. never touched anything .. 35’s are for looks unless your doing the trails in Moab and you had better be geared for those trails.
@Shabobidhuffy4 ай бұрын
@@sonny1597 well that’s what I’m sayin . Re gear , 35s , then start hitting the real trails. I did the whole 265/75r16 BFG KM3 (31.5” tires) and my 2018 Tacoma was getting very beat up. Wheel damage , not enough ground clearance, unstable at speed. Running 315/ 35” now . Night & day difference. also, duel lockers are absolutely essential off-road. I don’t know how people think they can get away without them. safety thing, and peace of mind. Don’t wanna be stuck out on some trail way out in the middle of nowhere all by yourself teeter-tottering, spinning wheels , snapping CV joints , helpless. if your gonna do it, just do it right from the beginning : re-gear , 35s , lockers.
