Thanks Mate, the sad truth is that no one has a clue, we all react to what happens as it happens and try to analyse it but can’t predict an iota of what is going to unfold in the markets… content creators are like amplifiers, when times are good they affirm it and try to tell you why it’s good and that it’s looking bullish but then all of a sudden the market turns bearish and everyone affirms it again and try to analyse why… it’s so sad that many are so powerless and it's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.3Bitcoin to a decent 19Bitcoin in the space of a few months... tariffs are taxes paid on imports so don't get too excited - Trump said tariffs are going to raise more than the taxes will be cut so Americans will be paying more total dollars to their federal gov't in 2025. You just won't have any idea how much you personally are paying in tariffs because it will all be hidden in the product cost by the time you buy it.

I'm sorry but you don't understand what "balance of trade" means. The USA has 9x more people than Canada. Imagine the only two trades are a Canadian buys an American built truck for $150k USD. Then, 9 American consumers buy the exact same truck except it was built in Canada and cost $100k USD ($900k USD total). By your logic, that is a 600% trade deficit and would be a rip off. In reality, the Canadian consumer paid 50% more for their truck. It's actually the Canadian who got ripped off. You aren't getting ripped off, you just have lots of people consuming a lot of things made cheaper in countries that have lower costs of living and lower operational costs.

It doesn't matter how much the US drills - your domestic oil is mostly light sweet crude and the US already produces more barrels per year of that than it needs in total. The issue is the refinery chemistry needs that to be MIXED with heavy crude oil to produce the full spectrum of thousands of refined products. The US sells almost half of current production for export (which will get retaliatory tariffs on it). Then, since most imported heavy crude comes from Canada and Mexico, that is getting tariffed on the way in. No one is going to drill oil at a loss. Lots of companies have operations in Canada and US with headquarters near where I live and execs are losing their minds with how stupid Trump is.

@@ayojoy1443 It has nothing to with left or right - unless the US finds a different kind of oil in reserves that have not yet been discovered, that is how the oil industry works in this part of the world. Just Google "why does the US still import oil" and a multitude of articles will explain it for you in greater detail. Tariffs can't find oil the US doesn't have underground and tariffs can only make energy prices go up. No one, including Trump, wants higher energy prices so tariffs on oil make zero sense.
