Sell everything, buy a cheap honda or toyota that is dependable and be done with it. These cars have owned you instead of you owning the cars. Once you have a stable job and live on your own then get back into projects. Priorities! You said it in this video.

Lol. Yes I agree that these cars have owned me, instead owning them. Yet, everything was going according to plan, I just didn't except to get fired out of the blue for unavoidable nonsense. That really complicated things, thus prompting me to sell my Porsche sooner rather than later. At least once I sell it, that's enough money for me to get the Audi running and driving pretty soon. I was (key word) doing just fine fixing both cars up simultaneously, not anymore. And to bring up the question that everyone keeps asking me, as to why I haven't parted out the Audi and sold it... It's because the A4 at the time was worth $30 and an additional $10k in parts & mods, so I rather be in this situation I am in(sitting in the garage for over a year), rather than lose $30k plus on a cheap car nowadays. Ontop of that it wasn't worth buying a cheap used $2k 2013 A4 engine plus $2k+ in labor for a car that's worth under $5k used and running in the market, if I already had plans to put the 2018 engine in way back in 2016. And yet even if I parted out the car, it would still be sitting in the garage as the car is worth in parts and it takes time to sell it. I suppose everything happens for a reason.

Also since my new job is 5 min from home and not 1 hour from home (like my previous job), then I don't need a car anymore. As I can get dropped off at work and all the money from selling the Porsche goes to the Audi.

Where did u buy your gen 3 engine?? Would the gen 2 cylinder head fit the gen 3 short block??
@MotorHeadTech4 жыл бұрын
I bought the engine off ebay & no the gen 2 head is not compatible with a gen 3 block.

@@MotorHeadTech how do u plan on wiring the ECU etc? Is this plug and play? Currently looking for a 2.0t swap.. don't wanna go back to gen 2.. I'm also manual so figured it'll be easier.. Is your parts all from the us or did u have to order some uk parts etc?
@MotorHeadTech4 жыл бұрын
@@dddfabio7007 1st of all this is not easy, been planning this for the past 3 years while my car has been sitting in the garage for 2 years, this project alone is roughly about $20k in parts & labor & customization. Stay tuned & watch my progress as we might break the ECU & TCU codes sometime this year & much more!

@@MotorHeadTech I'll go s4 then lmao or s5.. If u want a good build bro do the s5 4.2
@MotorHeadTech4 жыл бұрын
@@dddfabio7007 Those builds will definitely break necks, but my goal, what I want is a fast turbo charged 4 cylinder. I practically have the same engine as in the S3 8v but I want my A4, nothing else lol. What build are you currently doing & where could I see your progress as an S4 or S5 build is worth watching too?
