No it does not have a fart exhaust sound when shifting. Although with the S4's with the DSG transmissions it does have a DSG fart. On a side note, I engine and transmission swapped my A4 and I have DSG farts when I shift. It's funny and cool

Yes that can work, it's all a simple bolt. Except for the fact you'll probally need to switch the ABS module, e parking brake module, entire interior body wiring harness and a few sensors under the carpet of the front driver seat. You'll also need to spent north of $2,000 to $4,000 to flash the the cars module to understand quattro & flash the transmission to your vehicles vin

Based on my project, with modern cars this is an easy bolt on upgrades, except for the fact that: 1. You will need to replace your entire body wiring harness with the donor & pray that it has the same package trim level. Otherwise, you'll need to splice custom wiring to your entire body harness. That means, you will need to remove 95% of your interior. And 2. Pay hefty 5 figures amounts of money to reflash and recode the cars modules. As well as switiching many front wheel drive modules for the correct quattro modules, as well as spending north of $2k flashing the transmission to the correct chassis vin. In my opinion, this is a rabbit hole of a project, it will work, but at what cost (time & money?)

The 2.0T EA888 gen 2 engine is compatiable or interchangable with the 2013 to 2017 Q5 2.0T models, 2009 to 2016 A4 2.0T models, 2011 to 2016 A5 2.0T models, 2012 to 2016 A6 2.0T models

With money, skills and time anything is possible. Otherwise, a D2 or D3 S8 chassis is all that may work for you. The A8 from that gernaration doesn't share that many parts with other models

How is a 2018 engine inside a 2013 a4 paired to a 2014 S4 DSG transmission paired to the rs5 quattro system not impressive while running on limp mode?????? This was a cvt front wheel drive, ingenuity to get this to work with factory parts. You shouldn't make such comments since you don't know the back story to this project.

@@aminkhan1292 The instrument cluster was lit up like christmas, the car is driving with a safe mode on😅. 95% of the lights have been fixed. I just have 2 lights, power steering is once shorted out again and replace my shorted e brake module which is causing the transmission module to freak out

Thanks! So this is not easy. The shop would need a dealer tool called ODIS along with a yearly $4k+ online subscription to allow online coding of the transmission. Or they rent an ebay odis online account for 24 hours & then reprogram your vin to the transmission. either way this will cost north of $2,000 just to do this. I paid $3k for mine, so it costs $3k for my transmission replacement and then it costed me another $3k to reprogram. It will vary and be cheaper for you since I would asssume your car is not a project car like mine
