Also I feel like Kuzmenko being Russian and Michov also being Russian Kuzmenko can help him with the language barrier which i think Michov is struggling with.

As a PHI fan. Both struggle mightily with consistency issues. Frost esp goes from nasty to completely unusable. Farabee hasn't been the same since his neck surgery 2 years ago. Isn't worth anywhere near the 5 per he's making for another 3 years

Honest question of clarification/understanding, because I don't know, but when was the neck injury? Farabee's best season was last year when he played all 82 games and scored 22G and 28A for 50pts. And the year prior his second best year. He's just fallen off this year but that looks like lower minutes (down 1-2 minutes), bad luck (8.1% shooting % - 4% off career) and some tension with Torts?

Upside goes to CGY, but it's far from a huge win. Farabee & Frost have major issues in their games & they've been unable to fix them 7 years post draft.

This makes no sense from the Flyers. They didn't address their needs at C. Button is overrating Frost and Farabee. They disappear for looooong stretches

They’re just freein up cap space for the future. Not like they’re trying to compete for a cup this year. Now they have more cap and 7 draft picks in the first 2 rounds of next years draft

It's funny, if Craig Button didn't trade for Craig Conroy 23 years ago, Conroy is almost certainly not the GM of the Flames today and this trade does not happen.
