The AB-5200 2.0 includes comfortable, tapered seats and a standard-width or wide bench pad in the new, extra grippy CleanGrip material. The commercial-grade AB-5200 2.0 is incredibly durable, made with 11-gauge steel and heavy-duty bolts, while being an incredible value for lifters who want one of the best adjustable benches for their home gym. That’s a nice bench. I really enjoyed using it, it’s a lot lighter than the 1.0 and I LOVE the decline option! The smaller plate for standing storage is nice but the decline option is the game changer for me.

Great video! Visually this is much nicer to look at then my 1.0 version. I was able to sell my AB 3100 and caught the 1.0 version on sale so only paid $300 for my 1.0 version so I can’t see myself upgrading anytime soon but love seeing Rep keep on improving unlike some companies 👀

Yeah I mention that towards the end, 2.0 much much better than the 1.0 but the 1.0 is still so darn good not really worth spending the money to upgrade. Curious how soon they'll roll these updates out to their 4100 bench. What color you get on the 5200?

So the solid post will give you thy most stability and look the best for the longest but you can't do decline. The adjustable one is nice but the paint rubs off when you run it up and down

It's close to the blackwing. I think it's better in some major regards (color, weight, ease of use) but I know some who'll pick the blackwing over the new AB5200 cause of the incline situps/nordic curls, and they hate that gap when benching. P.S. No one is catching gluck!

About 2 years ago I bought a ethos adjustable bench around 300. . It's nice very heavy. But I wish I would not have impulse buy. I would have went with a rep bench knowing what I know now.

I am currently using the Titan max adjustable FID but the adjustment system is extremely tedious! I'd much prefer the ladder style on this REP bench. Also, the leg roller attachment is really nice for Nordic curls and sit ups, so personally, I'd take the dual ladder adjustment of this bench over the ladder and pop pin of the blackwing as the gap doesn't bother me. As always, great video!
