If it's games that we're talking about, then I have a hunch that the Collector and King will transform the Boiling Isles into and RPG-like world loosely based on the Good Witch Azura Book series, similar to Mabeland from Gravity Falls. The Owl House prides itself in "breaking the fantasy", so forcing the Bad Girl Coven to go on a cliché Dungeons & Dragons style quest will be the ultimate challenge of fantasy vs. reality. It's going to destroy Luz to see her childhood fantasy twisted into something used for evil and Eda will hate every second of it. 🐲

My idea for this would be the confession part of the episode but it doesn't have to be about love. I can imagine it would be an escape room that 2 people are trapped in, they'll collect clues to find the true key being to confess something that you wanted to say but never had the stomach to say it and reach a peaceful conclusion For example Luz and her mother (if she is there) are collecting clues to find the "key" but either spelling it out that she needs to say or hinting at her desires in staying in the demon realm, she shows how much she has grown and how she found herself in the boiling isles and they have to reach a peaceful conclusion to that conflict

I think a game based on Enchanting Grom Fright would basically have everyone partner with someone to defeat monsters based on their fears and they would have to fight said monsters while dancing, like how Luz and Amity danced while fighting Grom together. Those who are successful or the first to defeat their monster gets a pair of crowns/tiaras as a prize.

Like they're very similar as they're children with the power of gods, but King has more humility and The Collector has more power, so they understand each other. The concept of the collector is pure brilliance. Making a villain a kid with god-powers presents endless possibilities because the only reason behind the collectors actions will be because he wanted to in that moment. He won’t think of consequence or impact, and his naivety lends itself to easy (enough) manipulation or influence. Also the fact that he is a literal child (or at least takes the form of and is mentally a child) means we as an audience are gonna sympathise with him and not see him as a villain - instead just a kid having fun. And his character design and portrayed so far is making us all love him so so much I’m so excited to see what they do with the character.

Same here! I have thought of some theories of how will it play out but they always have the same conclusion: the reformation of the Collector. It might just be me being biased here since he became my favorite, but the Collector is like what you said, mentally a child. When dealing with a child, you have to teach them what's right and what's wrong, what's good and what's bad, and most importantly, teach them empathy. Kids need to develop empathy at a young age or else they'll be like the Collector: a child who has no remorse over their actions nor do they care. It may be a predictable ending, but it is a logical one. I don't mind if it's true, I care about the execution and how Dana will develop this in 3 episodes. If S3 had more, I'm sure she would've done A LOT better with the Collector. Not that I'm complaining, I just want more content from them.

@@tc4331 We've seen how miserable they were in prison and how they just wanted to play, not hurt people(even though they end up hurting people, but it wasnt an intention). So imprisoning them again would look just plain cruel. The puppy that got carried away while playing and bit, doesnt deserve to be kicked or locked away. I feel like it would be the best to temporarely lock away Collector's powers, so there wouldnt be a threat that his next tantrum will wipe away the continent. They really just need guidance they never had.

I think a game based off of hollow mind has SO MUCH POTENTIAL when it comes to how people explore each others minds. As well as how they confront troublesome memories. Some people could do what Belos did and try to cover up the truth and other "players” have to figure out what's real and what's not. People could have to see how long they can endure someone else's painful memories. People could get the chance to experience someone else's pleasant memories every so often to take a break from all the craziness and then go back to the less pleasant memories later. Or they can see what the actions they've committed do to someone else when it comes to consequences and they'll have to confront said consequences and figure out whether or not they can deal with it. All while the collector and King are in the background pulling the strings, changing things as the game is happening.

"The Owl House" could be about finding and possibly creating more wild magic, i.e glyphs and potions, which King can relay back to Luz when she comes back, for a skill boost in the final battle-either against the Collector of Belos. This can allow for King to find out how the glyph on his medal works, as well as glyphs in general. Alternatively, this could be used for "Adventures in the Elements", in which the Collector invents original glyphs, despite them being nonsensical in effect or design. I.e. a cat shaped glyph causing whatever surface is touched to dry up

For the game of the episode laberynth runners I imagine a laberynth made with illusions filled to the brim with enemies with emperor's coven like masks but a mangled body made of abomination goo that lurk inside it, the people have to go through avoiding different hidden traps and the unevenness of the terrain only to get to the generator of it all, but to turn it of they have to first fight a giant monster made out of abomination goo, coven guard masks, and some mechanical parts, that and go through a magnified spell that shows them their worst memories. The first team who turns the generator off wins. This could give us a glance of the collector's backstory only for it to be fully explained at your version of the hollow mind game

I think the game "The Owl House" is going to be a recreation of the whole Boiling Isles. Where everyone tries to pretend everything is normal while The Collector puppets the world. Lost in Language: Players search for the book they drew a monster in before the game started while said monster is hunting them down. They're able to pick up books and draw items to protect them such as staffs, potions, etc; however drawing takes up their time to run. Whoever doesn't find their book before the sun rises is eliminated from the competition.

Maybe enchanting grom fright? Each player fight their own version of grom in duos while dancing along in sychrony, if they fail to defeat their grom, it will hinder them for the rest of the tournament. This will test tneir teamwork, physical skills, mental fortitude and sychrony

I liked all of the main characters in the owl house at a casual amount and only specifically disliked characters rather than specifically liking them, as I like all of them. My only thought is that if King's writing the game, he's probably going to build in all kinds of rules to protect Eda and family - things like "You lose if the Owl Lady gets you" or "You can't do X when the Owl Lady is near." In a sense it makes Eda "It" and lets her work on things behind the scenes to try to end the Game for everyone else.

Episode: Follies at the Coven Day Parade Basically an escort mission. You have to run from one end of the field to another with "coven guards" hunting you down. You can hide in many props, like the Belos float. Beware, because a fake Terra Snapdragon is the boss, using plants to block your path.

The Owl House Game: The goal of the game will be to defeat a very big monster (I am calling it: a snake dragon) trying to destroy the owl house, to do that the players (most likely will be king, eda, and the collector((it's the trio except luz is replaced by the collector)) will have to power up (by learning glyphs and building/finding staffs) and also by completing quests(dancing competitions, becoming small will probably play part of it, facing your biggest fears, etc). That's what I think for now. And at the end of the episode, all the characters; hunter, willow, luz, amity, the curly haired guy will join and try defeating the monster with them(the monster might also be belos that became that snake dragon).

It could be a mix of the last 2. Possibly a new dungeon is unlocked for each episode, with boss fights like warden wrath, Atagast, the curse, and more. I would love to see a montage of king and collector fighting bosses and at the end king tries to nap and the collector wakes him up asking for the next game and we cut to luz and the gang.

For Eclipse Lake, you have to solve mysteries and fight enemies (which can include one of the other team's players) to find some Titan blood (could use some of King's blood or just apple blood dyed blue or something) only to find out the answer/Titan's blood was under their noses all along.

I think the ending will involve the main casts parental figures excepting the kids/demons/gods for who they are. Also focusing on the kids learning that, sometimes having to sacrifice things is the best way to reach goals. (like giving up, pride, believes, family lineage, being a carefree goof, ect.) Which I think is what the original message was going for.

Covention: Each player chooses one of the 9 non-emperor's covens before being thrust into a battle royale where groups of 2-4 players each fight in a grand arena where only one group will remain. Everyone sits down beforehand and is given an orientation (laser tag style) on each coven and how to use it's powers effectively.

I like all 3 for different reasons. The recap tournament would as you said be very nostalgic and a great way to cap off the show, king's speech about the owl house is very touching and emphasises the pure escapism and fantasy at the heart of the show and the whole d&d idea is the one of the most fantastical things I've ever heard and I would love nothing more than some backstory on the collector

I'm not sure what my favorite episode is but I'll do one for Knock Knock Knocking on Hooty's door(specifically the last part). The challenge is that and another character are locked in like a dating show situation. And the objective is for one of the characters to woo the other. The Woo-er knows who they're trying to woo but the woo-ey has no clue who's wooing them. It could be a test of charisma also the possibilities would be amazing. Like imagine Luz having to try and Woo someone like Boscha or Gus being forced to Woo Hunter. Not to mention it could show how much everyone's relationship with each other have developed. Also come on it would be hilarious.

Ok so my favorite is Edas Requiem, and going off of idea 1, either it could be a game similar to hide and seek (what happens at the end when Eda and Raine are running from Darius) or it could just be a straight up race (king and Luz participating in that race between schools). My fav episode is “Thems the breaks, kid” and I think it would work like the final tournament in the episode, each team in coven and wild, trying to capture the wild. However, wild can use special trapping spells to capture the coven. Whichever team loses, 10 people from their teams is eliminated, and the winning team can pick who goes.

I like all of your ideas, Finn. I think the D&D inspired game would make the most sense given the fantasy aspect of the Boiling Isles. As for assets I would want to see is something involving us getting to know more of the Coven Heads, especially the other ones we weren't properly introduced to. Like we would know more about Hettie Cutburn, Vitimir, Mason, and Osran; how they came to be introduced as coven heads, what they sound like, and how they're recovering from Emperor Belos' betrayal

Personally I think that the D&D idea is the best. Although I think it could be improved by adding a more chaotic element to it. The collector flying around the boiling isles (or even the entire universe) causing chaos wherever he goes while king panics and keeps making more rules to try and protect people would work better for the established personality of the collector. I also love the idea of an opener to the third season showing the collector doing something seemingly innocent before zooming out and showing the boiling isles in complete chaos. This style of game could also serve as a way for king to get information on how to bring luz and the gang back. As far as we know the only way to get to the demon realm from the human realm is via titans blood, king learning how that works could allow him to bring the others back.

In my head. The owl house would be a game where Everyone is trapped inside the Owl House and the objective is to escape it. Here’s the catch of the game: every room has a specific rule that the players have to follow if they want to leave. The good old “the floor is lava”, “you have no legs”, “gravity is reverted”, etc.. It would be an interesting concept.

Some of my fav episodes and potential challenges for them: - Covention: Players will receive randomized power-ups and setbacks, then duke it out in one-on-one duels - Lost in Language: Players will be stuck in a library-like location with the living villain version of a fictional character, preferably their favorite or one that they know nothing about. The players are only equipped with an eraser and they need to locate the book with the character they’re facing and then erase the edits to the character - Hunting Palisman: Players will receive a task of either collecting palisman or freeing them. Players will be teamed up into incompatible teams with half of the players having each task, where they’ll have to push past their differences and figure out their teammates tasks to complete theirs. So players’ ‘team mates’ can also function as their competition. - Yesterday’s Lie: Players will receive a mission to complete, but will have a set time limit and will only be able to move through reflections. - Elsewhere and Elsewhen: Players will be assigned random insignificant moments in history that had a bad outcome. The players then need to locate time pools and change that bad outcome in a way that doesn’t completely change history. - Them’s the Breaks, Kid: Players will pair up and try to complete as many challenges as they can within a set time limit. After the time is over, the players with the lowest scores will be eliminated. Afterwords, the terra game would ensue. - Labyrinth Runners: maybe some complex maze with illusions, and either traps or enemies to try to slow you down and stop you from reaching the end. Two players would ply per map/round and the first person to navigate through the maze is the winner.

personal idea; I think the fact that it NEEDS a 'whole island's worth of players' will play into it. When I saw this episode, the first idea that came to my head that might give any chance against a god like entity would be to say its an evolving game in which "Every player gets to make at least 1 rule" (I already know this is a bad idea but I was panicking okay!) I would then immediately use my rule to say "no killing other players" because that wouldn't be fun. I would then pray that the Colector would waste his rule on something like "Everyone HAS TO PLAY!!!" which all things considered was already out of the cards for the people of the Boiling Isles. (sorry everyone...) the idea of giving ~10,000 the power of a godlike rulemaking without explaining anything to them might sound like a terrible idea (and it is!) the ability to restrain The Collector in ANY way would be a blessing. (also remember that the law of the Pinkie Promise was that King HAS to play with the Collector, which inversely means the Collector HAS to play with King.) now this in itself would not be enough to build a game, but it might buy me enough time to come up with some 'meta Rules' about how the game would work. (Maybe a player could give up their rule willingly to another player?)

Favorite episode with a game themed around it? Enchanting Grom fight, where players have to pair off and dance-battle to win or lose. This poses an interesting stake for the cast as someone is going to have to lose the game. They aren't fun if everyone gets to win, after all. Maybe even the Collector decides to play himself but has King or someone else as his partner, meaning that they may try to sabotage or throw the round at the cost of their own life to make the Collector lose, and the reward is getting to decide what they'll do next.
