Vice President Kamala Harris is looking likely to receive the Democratic Party's nomination for president following President Biden's closure of his reelection campaign and endorsement of Harris. Symone Sanders, a top Democratic political consultant, was Kamala's chief aide in the VP's first year. Sanders who is well respected could not tolerate the outbursts and mean personality of Harris, and quit before the end of the year. Just as telling, 80 percent of Harris' own staff quit as well. You can bet that Harris, despite her public pronouncements of support for Joe, undermined him behind the scenes so she could climb to the top. As to Sanders, she has flatly stated that there should be an open convention so that other candidates can be considered. Whitmer -Beshears would be an excellent ticket; and remember that Harris could not even make to the primaries in 2020 - and polled 3rd in her home state of California.
