WHAT WILL WE DO IN HEAVEN?

Because Heaven seems so far away from life on Earth, God has given us some key truths to hold onto.
God Almighty says that Heaven is:
1-OUR ROOM IN FATHER’S HOUSE: Jesus said it was a “place” He was preparing just for us in His “Father’s House” (Jn. 14). That speaks of family, love, and an anticipated special holiday reunion.
2-OUR SEAT AT GOD’S BANQUET: Jesus also called Heaven a banquet feast at which each of us has a place at the table (Mt. 8:11).
3-AN INEXPRESSIBLY WONDERFUL PARADISE TO LONG FOR: Paul said it was “Paradise” (2 Cor. 12) and that he experienced things beyond description that made him long for Heaven (Phil. 1:23). He added that when we are absent from here we are present there (2 Cor. 5).
4-OUR RESERVED PLACE AT THE MOST EXCLUSIVE RESORT: Peter said we have reservations there (1 Peter 1)
5-OUR DESTINATION IN THE HEAVENLY CITY: Abraham believed Heaven was a city with foundations built and made by God (Heb. 11)
6-OUR HOME FOREVER WITH GOD: Finally in Revelation, John sees that we dwell (tabernacle) with God (Rev. 21-22).

I have a question I have asked before but never gotten an answer and have always wondered. I know Heaven is a place of no sadness, no sickness, no mourning, no death. In the bible there is a passage that says about the trees, that we will eat the fruit and use the leaves as medicine. Why does this passage say that. I have always been taught that there is no sickness in Heaven, so why would we need medicine? It's in Ekekiel

What will believers do in heaven? Two things. 1. Have our earthly works tried by fire on the sea of fire and glass at the judgment seat of Christ. 1Cor 3:12-15 and Revelation 15:1-7. 2 Attend the Marriage Supper of the Lamb. Revelation 19:1-10. After that we will return with Messiah to earth for 1,000 years. Revelation 19:11-21 and 20:1-6 NOTHING MORE in heaven. Revelation chapters 21 and 22 says that heaven will come down to the new earth. The Father and Son will dwell with His PPL. Now, if you are talking about that heaven, know one knows what we will be doing. 1Cor 2:9 from Isaiah 64:4.

Revelation 20:6 KJVS Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. There is a mid tribulation rapture, the saints will be in heaven for 3 1/2 years and then return to earth for the millennial kingdom. I think those 3 1/2 years in heaven will be kind of like a staging area where everyone will be given their rewards and assigned their role in the kingdom. Beyond that, I cannot say because the book of Revelation really only covers new Jerusalem, coming down from heaven, and then God will be on earth. Revelation 21:2-5 KJVS And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. [3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. [4] And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. [5] And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Maybe I’m just a pessimist but everything down here feels broken and awful. I’m not sure I want to reflect on anything that happened down here. I just want to move on from it. Being reminded of this existence in heaven sounds like hell to me. Maybe the Holy Spirit can help me understand. This really didn’t register with me at all. Honestly it makes me fear heaven. Caution, Beloved of Christ. While John is a very gifted Bible teacher, from whom much can be learned, he preaches the Arminian, "wide-gate", "broad-way" (Mt 7:13). "gospel" of salvation, in which Jesus loves everybody, and died for everybody, so that everybody will have the opportunity for eternal life, provided that they follow a certain prescription of spiritual behavior. In contrast, the Bible reports: the gate and the path is narrow and few find it, namely, only those chosen (by Grace alone) (Eph 2:8-9) from before the foundation of the world (Eph 1:4), with their names eternally written into "The Lamb's Book of Life", from the foundation of the world (Rev 13:8, 17:8), having been predestined into adoption as sons (Eph 1:5), as well as, predestined to be conformed to the image of the Son (Rom 8:29), and, at some point called, justified (by the blood of Jesus), and eventually glorified (Rom 8:30), with immortal bodies at "The Last Trumpet" (1Cor 15:51:52). Accordingly, salvation from the Wrath of God is by grace alone, through the faithfulness of Christ alone, not through any effort from us, lest anyone might boast (Eph 2:9). The Gospel of God is that God does all the work, nothing else required. John also teaches a "Pre-Tribulation" Rapture even though it is contradicted by the Bible more than 18 times, including, "The living....will never precede the dead in Christ (1Th 4:15-16). Thus, the living can't possibly be raptured until "The Last Day", when Jesus will resurrect His people (Jn 6:39-40, 44, 54). Check everything that you read or hear against the Bible, lest you join the millions of deceived.

Maybe they missed this?, And when some of the Pharisees asked Yeshua, 'When is the Kingdom of God coming', he answered and he said to them, The Kingdom of God does not come with what is observed. Neither do they say, 'Behold, here it is!' and 'Behold, from here to there!', for behold, the Kingdom of God is within some of you.” That's probably why the man Jesus said, “The days will come when you shall long to see one of the days of The Son of Man, and you shall not see.”. So, actually it is not God who put limits on our knowledge , we do it to ourselves through our own narrow minded ignorance. It is actually in the book everyone tells me to read, go figure. The kingdom is near.

We don't go to Heaven. After the clouds we return to Earth for the millennial reign of Jesus Christ THEN satan is loosed then put away for good THEN there be a near Earth with no ocean and Heaven moves in with us. Nudity/sex scene and language. So I'm wondering why you would watch it let alone mention it as something you watched although you did mention your feelings about it. But I would think as a teacher to those in your class and online that you would try to be an example of how to live for God and to separate oneself from pleasures of the world which could also include types of music and movies. Appalling and dishonest. The letter of James does not describe heaven or its delights. In fact heaven is not adequately described anywhere in any of the Abrahamic religions. The idea of intensified sensual delights is both selfish and pagan. The idea of perpetual worship at a golden throne in some sort of state of numb translucent bliss is repellent and unnatural.

According to your theology we will be sitting in heaven for a 1000 years waiting for Jesus to take care of a literal nation. That's ridiculous, not biblical. Israel and the church are one and the same according to Paul. No, we reign with Him in heaven for 1000 years where we will find that all His judgements are just and true. After that the saints come down with Christ in the New Jerusalem where it is brought down and planted on the mount of olives. Where Jesus steps foot and opens a big gap and cleanses that part of the earth. Then the second resurrection of the wicked are raised and given a time to gather with Satan who deceives them one last time. These are the rest of the dead that lived not again until after the 1000 years ended, and Satan is loosed. They are that which were dung upon the earth and the rest of the wicked that were already in the grave during the previous coming when the dead in Christ and those that are alive in Christ were raised. Jeremiah is clear on what happens on that day. There is nothing special for a nation of Israel. No such thing as salvation by heritage, the Bible is clear, salvation is only in Christ.
