Their is surely a ecological niche that mosquitos cover which when removed may give rise to some other insect. Mosquitos lay eggs in water and start their lives in water, what they eat would surely rise up in number as they are liberated from their oppressors or predators.

Throughout my childhood I was mainly the only one in my friend group and among my sisters who would get absolutely eaten up by mosquitoes. I found out mosquitos favor O blood type. I’m O positive.I even had a damn mosquito bite when I was 9-10 that was about the size of a bread plate on my right thigh. It was the only time I ever had a bite that big and I haven’t had one that size since. Since I was only 9-10 it basically covered my whole thigh area above my knee. From side to side not knee to hip. Lol that would be crazy. I think it was some allergic reaction like skeeter syndrome but like I said it’s only happened that once. So, 🤷‍♀️
