On the Mac, there's nothing better. The FL Studio Gang don't get it. Logic is more than enough.

Yeah, I agree with you. Logic is my choice after many years of trying many things. I’ve used it since version 5.5. However, it only works on a Mac and not everybody can afford to buy one. That’s why I suggested all the other options. I actually was pleasantly surprised with how well reaper works recently.

yet most of the hits are on FL STUDIO ... pretty turtle vs ugly rabbit ... slow work flow vs fast work flow.. its preference.

@TangoJordan no disrespect to FL gang but it's just easier not necessarily better primary reason for choice... Logics professional sound is next to protools without the necessary plug ins needed for FL.. but digressing, we choose daws for different functions FL sampler chop {s} is preferred over a few being fair....other than that Logic has better quality sounds for chord progression

No one is mastering songs in fl its produced there not mixed and mastered there

Yes and no. They’re have been songs mastered in fl studio, however I would not recommend it. I only suggest it as an option for new producers/beatmakers because it is a good starting point. Most cases many upgrade to another daw at a later date once they learn more. But very few offer the midi flexibility that FL studio has. Ableton is another good one but I am not a fan of the user interface.

Why learn FL Studio only to switch to a less efficient DAW for production? I produce in FL Studio and mix in Studio One. I mostly agree with you, but I disagree on the starting point. If you begin with FL Studio, there’s no reason to switch to another DAW for production. I’ve been using it for 24 years, and every time I try something else, I get frustrated and return to what I know. The idea that you’ll outgrow FL Studio is a misconception-you won’t
