12:24 Lex was also gifted an Orange power ring during the Blackest Night event in DC Comics, becoming the first human Orange Lantern, so yeah, he in Greed makes the most sense. Honestly, Superman's villains often get reinterpreted in different media, so it may be more challenging to determine what Lantern Corps they would primarily fall into since so many of them are complex characters with a range of different emotions. I love to see you do a similar villain for not just other villains/rogues galleries but even fellow superheroes in DC.

watching this made me realize how little I know about Superman comics as a whole, I knew a few people on here, but I never once heard about Mettalio, Livewire, Parasite, Mongul, or Manchester Black, the rest I kind of know from other media like Injustice and stuff, but thats about it.

Ya he truly has some great villains! Parasite is probably a top 3 villain of mine for Superman. Mongul is really making his presence much more known today and is also becoming far more formidable than he has been in the past. If you want a taste of Manchester Black, watch Superman vs The Elite. Livewire is VASTLY underused and deserves more of a spotlight. Metallo is another fantastic villain that pushes Superman past his common ability to simply punch his enemies until they fall.

Superboy Prime actually managed to find redemption in Dark Knights: Death Metal. I think a Ring of Compassion would seek him out because he lacked compassion for so long, and the ring seeks out those either totally lacking it or who have immense amounts of it. It would be interesting to see how that would have changed him. He would definitely fit the most with yellow, as he scares the shit out of a lot of people.

I don’t follow many Superman villains, but one that I do like is Livewire. I think in addition to rage she would be a candidate for the hope or compassion spectrums. She has a history of actually reforming in the comics both in the mainstream continuity and the animated Superman adventures comic continuity. So I can see her with blue and indigo rings.

My thoughts and where Id put them Darksied - Overall the Black lantern core. While I agree he'd go full Thanos I just personally feel like he'd just settle with the black lantern ring as its practically the anti-life equation. Brainiac - Overall Orange Lantern core. While I agree he'd want to collect them all, I just do not think he'd use them all nor would they simply just work for him. In terms of his personality he is just consumed by collecting knowledge and as such that is all he is concerned with. He is practically greed incarnate, he collects all knowledge and destroys it so only he has it. Zod - I agree he is a bit of a toss up as he fits two cores overall, however I do not think he'd fit as a green lantern. If Superman is the man of steel than he is a green/blue lantern if DC ever decides he should get and keep a ring. However Zod is the polar opposite of Superman he does not care for overcoming ones fear instead he is about inflicting it. Now the toss up is him being a red lantern. He wanted to rule Krypton and he got locked away along with the planet getting destroyed. From there he was released on Earth but was defeated by the son of the man who defeated him previous and again locked away. From there his ideas of reviving Krypton keeps being rejected and thrown in his face. I feel like at some point he'd just be consumed with rage that a red ring would naturally come to him. Doomsday - ... I mean yeah red lantern makes sense. Metallo - I agree red lantern makes sense and personally I dont think the indigo tribe would seek him out particularly just cause his rage it typically focused on Superman and Lex or Darksied (depending on who made him into a cyborg) Bizzaro - Ngl I just feel like he be a blue ring overall. Like hands down he is superman to his core and people simply use it against him. He big and dumb and easily angered but more often than not when hes himself he simply just trying to help even when doing so its the exact opposite. So I feel like it make sense he'd be a blue lantern that would in actuality act more akin to a yellow lantern instead of red. If Sups saves kitten from tries than Bizzaro saves kittens from people by putting them in trees. Livewire - Honestly as someone who grew up watching the superman animated series. I feel like Livewire is simply not angry but instead likes to cause people to live in fear. She in the cartoon was practically Superman's JJ always crapping on him and trying to turn the public against him. And while shes suppose to be a feminist talking point which is, lets be real, a very angry mouth. Her as a character just liked to make people live in fear as she terrorized everyone, she didnt simply destroyed things she just caused havoc for attention and thats all her personality and typical feminist talking points is about, attention. Parasite - Overall Id say hes just greed so an orange lantern fits him perfectly, he cares for nothing but his next meal. Mongul - I agree yellow is best fit for him. Lobo - Honestly overall... I think he'd be an orange lantern as all he cares about is making money and kicking ass. Indigo just feels too shoehorned in as a fanfic of how to fix the character than simply giving one he would remain as. Like sure he could be green or red, as I dont feel like he likes to cause fear just get his rocks off while doing bounties but overall its not his goal. Toyman - Honestly this dude doesnt really seem to fit any lantern. Like he doesnt even fit Indigo as he tries to improve and redeem himself but just ends up falling back into his old ways as a criminal. Like closest one I could find to fit him and not one of his replacements is maybe rage but even thats a cope out as the rage was misunderstanding and he felt bad after words. I guess best one to fit him is ultra violet core as its more a question of is he a nice person who made mistakes or a terrible person who actually wants to terrorize people. Lex Luther - Hes not an orange lantern. Sure he is greedy but that greed typically comes from the fact that he wants to make sure there is a way to protect the earth from beings like superman. As such he is simply an evil green lantern. Like the only reason we see him as a bad person is because we know Superman as a character yet Lex doesnt know his actual motives are good or not. Manchester - I agree yellow fits best he just wants to do what he wants and have people be lesser than him to such a degree he tried to kill off sups to rule over the world. Superboy Prime - I feel black fits him best Mister Mxyzptlk - I think orange fits him best imo. The greed isnt normal, its an obsession to just toy with people from our dimension. He sees us as toys and its his right to play with us as he wants and see what we will do like a toddler will see what noise an action figure will make on xmas. He simply is obsessed with anything that fancies his interest and Sups holds that obsession the longest thats why he always comes back. Everything must play by his rules if it doesnt than he will destroy everything till it conforms to his rules.

Surprise to not see Silver Banshee !! I think she would fit the indigo lantern since her latest upgrade where she had access to the Phantom zone which amplified her power and made her one of strongest Superman villain with her abilities being hyper developed. But she doesn’t want to fight Superman anymore and it’s getting a new direction I think. That’s all i know about that recent (last year I think) upgrade. She was with Jimmy Olsen and they had a good relationship and she was trying to grow differently I don’t think love is her motivation but mostly her desire to become something more. Maybe the hope spectrum could b interesting as well

Darkseid’s obsession with the anti-life equation puts him in a similar boat to Thanos with his courting of Death. So I could see Darkseid acquire a black ring, and find he cannot weird the white, requiring him to collect the other 7, since they are able to combine to do the same thing as a white ring. Or Darkseid would find the black lantern power battery and create 7 dark lantern cores out of it to create a dark mirror of the light spectrum.

Red works for Doomsday but I’d also suggest a Black Ring due to the destruction and death he leaves in his wake as his body count would probably be very high. Along with his ability to bring himself back to life after death, he grows only stronger than he was before.

Darkseid having all the lantern rings is interesting and it reminded me that there was a story where HIghfather and the New Gods tried to gather all the various lantern powers, thinking it could be the thing to finally defeat Darkseid. I'm now really interested in seeing how the energies from the emotional spectrum could effect Kryptonite since at this point anything can effect Kryptonite, thus making a new type of it with new effects for Superman and co. A while ago I found out the comics did give Superboy-Prime a happy ending and it was implied that now he can become a proper heroic Superboy/Superman now, so I wonder if that could lead to him getting a different ring like Hope or even Love. Also there was a Harley Quinn comic where she got a ring that was a fusion of a red and black power ring (cause red and black are her thing) and it made her go around causing chaos and killing people, fitting for Superboy-Prime pre happy ending.

I feel like Lobo would wear an orange ring but also a pink ring to some extent. Yes he's a bounty hunter but his primary motivation for going after Superman and others like him is because of money, his love for money can make him so stupid that he'll fall willingly into a trap as long as there's a paycheck attached to it.
